I reside in Sweden and will have an issue apparently as I need the server software to be fully in English and not Swedish though I reside in Sweden it is not a guarantee that those finally ending up working with configuration can understand the language.

Secondly I found that licensing is now done "per core" and not "per server".
What will this entail for my plan to use a machine having 2 x 48 cores?

No answer was to be found on Microsoft.com in the online store as their pricing tops out at 10 or 20 cores.

Correction, the number of cores specified tops out but no price is given for each one.

When I searched on the mailto: link to contact the store had a highly elaborate subject line baked into the html-source of the web page.

However it was lacing the most essential mailto: adress field which prevented any further contact with Microsoft.

Nor was a standard contact form to pre-sales given.

Once I ended up on this page of the community there is no mentioning of Server 2012 or Server 2016 being an O/S of choice.

This is even more odd as the server line should be regarded a Windows O/S as well, or is it not?

I am seriously beginning to wonder over these initial errors if one really should buy a license for Windows 2016 or simply go directly to go and use Linux instead.

Hi,

How do I link my google account to my microsoft account, in order to share my calendar and contacts between this two accounts?

My goal is to have the same contacts in both accounts, so when I do a change in one of them, the other will be able to automatcly sync.

Ayer utilice mi memoria usb en excel, tengo muchas carpetas y archivos, al terminar y guardar la información de excel olvide expulsar usb y apague mi laptop, luego al darme cuenta de ello volví a prender mi laptop para expulsar el usb y en cuanto me mostró el escritorio me dirigí al ícono que aparece en la barra inferior de windows para seleccionar "el simbolo de puerto extraible" y darle click derecho para seleccionar expulsar unidad "G" (que es mi unidad usb) y me indicó el mensaje de que podía ahora retirar mi usb, la retiré y apagué mi lap top.

La sorpresa fue unas 8 horas después que prendí nuevamente mi laptop, ingresé mi misma Usb que había retirado la ultima vez y me apareció el mensaje: the file or directory is corrupted or unreadable. Me dirijo al explorador de carpetas y la unidad extraible "G" (mi usb) aparece en blanco sin mostrar la capacidad ni memoria utilizada como comunmente se visualiza, lo seleccioné y di click derecho para ver propiedaddes y me arroja 0 Bites.

1. Me preocupa mi información...¿Como puedo recuperar mis archivos y carpetas almacenadas en esa USB?

2. ¿Porqué me indica ese mensaje de the file or directory is corrupted or unreadable ?

(Cabe aclarar que mi laptop una vez que la prendo y me muestra mi escritorio tarda en estar lista para abrir programas ya que si intento abrir alguno simplemente no se abre en ese instante y se abre al paso de 1 minuto aproximadamente).

Muchas gracias por su atención, quedo en espera de su respuesta de ayuda en cuanto les sea posible.

ho un foglio in cui in colonna A nella cella dispari (A(2n-1) per n=1....) ho una foto e in quella pari (A2n) il nome e cognome.

Vorrei spostare nome e cognome nella colonna B quindi a fianco della foto (B(2n-1)) e cancellare le righe pari.

Spero di essere stato chiaro.

PS - premetto che il tutto è stato copiato da internet ed era già strutturato come vorrei, ma non so come mai, il nome e cognome è slittato sotto la foto.

Avrei potuto adottare qualche accorgimento per evitare il lavoro di cui sopra?

upon clicking on it outlook detected it as being an unsafe link.

I recently purchased the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. Enjoying using it so far, however, I have one major concern.

Since I will be using this in the class room with kids, I want to ensure that no one else can connect to the adapter and project their own device on there as this is asking for trouble.

I have used the Windows App to set the option that requires a PIN to connect. However, anyone can just connect their phone to the adapter and type in the pin code that appears on screen and get access. I am afraid that when I set this up, a student would connect to it before I get time to connect my device. Is there a way where I can prevent this from happening? Such as a fixed password/pin that only I know that can be used to grant access?

Hello,

I have 2 pc's: 1 laptop with windows 10 (build version 16299.309) and a main pc with windows 10 Education (build 16299.125).

The windows 10 education is the problem: I get this error in windows update:

It is on windows 10 education build 16299.125. And I get the error that my pc is at risk. When I check for updates it doesn't find anything.

I tried quite a lot of things: windows 10 problem solver (it didn't do anything), I tried the windows media creation tool (reinstalling windows 10) but it didn't fix anything.

Any idea? My theory is that windows 10 education doesn't get the same updates as the regular version (is this correct?).
