I have a weird situation here, that I can't seem to find a solution to.  During the last Insider update my computer froze during installation...now I'm back to Win 8.1 and can't seem to figure out how to get myself back into the program and back on Win 10. I'm using my Samsung Ativ Pro for my Insider builds as I don't want them on my Alienware!! This has never happened to me before and I've been an Insider/Preview member since day 1, so I'm really not liking 8.1 right now...haha

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I JUST RECEIVED WHAT LOOKED LIKE A LEGIT WARNING FROM WINDOWS. WARNING ME THAT MY LAPTOP HAD BEEN LOCKED BY THEM BECAUSE I WAS HACKED BY SOME FOREIGN HACKERS TRYING TO GET INFO FROM MYBRAND SPANKING NEW LAPTOP I JUST RECEIVED LAST NIGHT. IT SAID TO CALL 8885761517 AND THEN SOME INDIAN ACCENT GUY ON THE PHONE SAID I NEEDED A NETWORK FIREWALL PROTECTION, SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM REGULAR FIREWALLS, FOR THE AMOUNT OF 200.00 FOR TWO YEARS. I SAW THE WINDOWS LOGO ON THE WARNING NOTICE. AND SO I WENT ALONG BUT AS SOON AS HE CONTINUED TO REPEAT HIMSELF ABOUT HOW NECESSARY IT WAS, SOMETHING WAS TELLING ME, THIS ISN'T RIGHT. SO I TOLD HIM TO HANG ON THAT I NEEDED TO RECORD WHAT HE WAS TELLING ME FOR REFERENCE BUT THEN HE HUNG UP. ANYONE EVER HEARD OF THIS HAPPENING? SHOULDN'T MY NEW LAPTOP COME WITH SOME. KIND OF VIRUS PROTECTION? HOW DID THEY LOCK MY LAPTOP FORCING ME TO CALL THEM SO THEY COULD USE MY COMPUTER?I HOPE SOMEBODY CAN HELP.

Skulle installera G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel och Driving Force Shifter då får jag upp en blå skärm med detta. Stoppkod: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. Också detta : Vad misslyckades: Wdf01000.sys.

Det händer varje gång när delarna är inkopplade men när jag tar bort dem från USBn på datorn så startar datorn normalt

Since the most recent Windows 10 update, I am no longer able to drag desktop icons off the screen; I dislike the recycling bin being on my desktop because I can't change its icon to make it invisible, nor can I remove it from the desktop. Did Microsoft intentionally make this happen? If there is any way that I can remove the bin from my desktop, change the icon to a custom icon, or move it off screen again, please tell me how. Thanks!

P.S. I do not have "Align icons to grid" checked.

I bought a new Lenovo laptop. I am trying to open flash drives and keep getting a message " Not Registered", and the file will not open. Any suggestions on how I might overcome this?

Здравствуйте! У меня такая проблема, телефон выходит из приложений во время из работы! Тоесть вылетают п приложения, если раньше это было раза два три в день, то сейчас чуть ли не каждый раз, что делать? И как это исправить? Подскажите пожалуйста!)))

Hallo, 

Seitdem ich Forza Horizon 3 auf meinem Pc insterliert habe und es angefangen habe zu spielen, erhalte ich weder Erfolge oder die Errungenschaften beim Forza-Thon. Ich bin mitlerweile lvl 133 im Spiel und müsste eigentlich schon ein paar Erfolge freigeschaltet haben, dies ist aber leider nicht so...

Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand helfen

Hi

I have win10 1511 (10586.916)

I tried install Windows10Upgrade9252. But it breaks after getting to the blue fullscreen installation and then returns and error (0x8007001f)

i tried to install  windows10.0-kb3201845-x64_95e1e765344e1388fee3f7c0c143499e0b617d9f : it says it doesnt apply.

i tried windows10.0-kb4019473-x64_c23b6f55caf1b9d6c14161b66fe9c9dfb4ad475c: it says it is already installed

I dont want to reinstall Windows. Im on Windows, not to reinstall it, like it was Linux.

I attempted to delete a contact on People.Com (a former employee of Merrill Lynch).  It won't allow me to delete her name at all.  I called the Geek Squad and their agent told me he couldn't help me.  The problem was solely with Microsoft.  The agent gave me a phone no. for Microsoft and then I was told to go to support.microsoft.com.  I'm asking for help to delete the woman's name from People.com.

Buenos días:

Actualice mi equipo y al descargar de manera gratuita Word y Excel, instale ofiice 10, hace una semana, ahora me informa que debo activar los seis programas que baje o si no los voy a perder.

Me gustaría saber: Si busque un paquete gratis de programas de Excel, Word y PowerPoint por que ahora me solicita la activación y el posible pago de las licencias. Si esta era una condición para el uso debieron informarme antes de poder hacer la descarga, por que franca la verdad. En este momento de mi vida necesito mi computador funcionando super bien y tener la posibilidad de perder la información me preocupa; pero recalco, por no tener medios económicos suficientes busque una opción gratuita, esto quiere decir que no tengo dinero para pagar el derecho de uso de las licencias.

Ahora por favor me indican que debo hacer? Si debo desinstalar los programas y buscar otros mas; me podrían por favor indicar cuales son lo de uso y manejo gratuitos pero de buena calidad... Muchas gracias  Mi equipo es un Lenovo que compre hace un año. Gracias de nuevo
