I am trying to run Easy Transfer to move things between one older Windows 7 Laptop and a newer WIndows 7 Laptop. However, when I try to run the program I get a pop up message telling me that I am not signed on as an Administrator (though I definitely am!!!)
and suggests that I restart the PC and sign on as an Administrator. I have checked the User Profile used via the Control Panel and can confirm that I am signed on as an Administrator. ANy suggestions?

What happens after an MSN user reports abusive or spam email?
What does Microsoft do after an MSN user reports abusive spam email? My email address has been spoofed and I now get numerous emails every day where my email address is in the 'to' and 'from' field. I tried tracing the IP address of the porn site that sends me the email. After finding out the website and IP address, I block them in my blocked senders list. The emails persist. My account has not been hacked, but my address continues to be used to get email to my junk folder.
I copy the message header (source) and report it to Microsoft. I still get just as many spoof emails from the same porn site originating in Canada. When users report spam/spoof/porn spam email, what does Microsoft do to block the spam from getting through MSN email servers? Or does Microsoft block these sites at all?

I'm sick of windows and the stupid popup blocking whatever i'm doing and basically highjacking everything on the screen. Seriously feel like just installing windows 98 to get rid of it. I don't care, if my computer is not uptodate. If someone is going to hack it, they will do it regardless of your annoying **** updates.
How can someone turn them, COMPLETELY off!

Ran system file check & found corrupted files that it could not fix. It said to get a good copy from a computer running the same version as yours. I don't have one or have a friend that has the same. What do I do now?

I am wondering if I have the latest Outlook app on my Android. I have the one that is blue with a white envelope. Since I installed it several weeks ago, it keeps wanting me to send my password to xxxx (long string of letters and numbers) @acompli.org. When I tried searching to find out what this was, I learned about acompli.com and that Microsoft bought that company. But no clue as to why I have to give acompli.org my password.
Is this legit or do I have the old Outlook Android app?
My inbox and emails still show up, and I can still connect to my One Drive app on my Android (which is properly signed in), but I no longer have access to my Outlook contacts in the contacts app. The contacts show up but when I click on them I get a message that says 'contact not found'.

Installing Old Hard Derive onto new Computer
My old computer had a motherboard failure. I took the 1.5 TB Drive out of that computer and installed in a different computer that already had a primary c: drive. Windows recognized the new drive as K: and I can access some data files, pictures, etc. However, I cannot access any of the old programs from this hard drive - I need to use a variety of these programs and can't figure out how to get access to them. Any suggestions?

Unable to sync my live email Error Code - 0x8007000d
After an update I cannot sync my live email on my windows 10 system and it keeps bringing up error code 0x8007000d. Very frustrating.

Wired Xbox 360 Controller not working with USB 3.0 port
When I try to connect my Afterglow Wired Xbox 360 Controller to the USB 3.0 ports in front of my tower it does not fully connect. When I plug it in to those ports it would turn on and off repeatedly. I know Windows briefly detects the controller because it makes the "device connected" sound. I believe it has to do with the USB 3.0 not supplying enough power to keep the controller on.
It use to work before I updated to Windows 10. The controller works perfectly fine using the USB 2.0 ports located directly on the motherboard. I have a GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 1.1) motherboard.

I purchased a card through eBay, displayed as $100 Microsoft prepaid card. I redeem it and tells me to change location to Australia and only then does it redeem. Now I can't buy anything with it and it never shows when I try and complete my purchase. Any

How do I upgrade Win 10 Home to Win 10 Pro with a Win 7 Ultimate product key?
I upgraded from Windows 7 home to Windows 10. Later, while cleaning out my IT room I found an unused copy of Windows 7 Ultimate sealed in the box. I know that if I upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7 Ultimate, I get Windows 10 Pro rather than Windows 10 Home.
So... I went to Settings/Update & Security/Activation and changed the product key. The Windows 7 Ultimate key was refused.
Which leads me to my question, "How do I upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 10 Home using a Windows 7 Ultimate product key _without_ reformatting the hard drive and doing a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate"?

Access the C drive and the Finder in Windows 10?
I can not find access to the Finder or C drive information on Windows 10. On the old system it was found in the "My Computer" section, but I can not find a similar place. When I ask Cortana, it brings me to the internet with sites containing a word in

IE 11 - Favorites - Access Is Denied - Is There A Limit to The Number of URLs in a Folder?
Hi All,
I keep on receiving the following message when I try to add a URL to one of my existing Favorites Folder:
"Unable to create 'Create a new question or start a discussion': Access is denied."
Not sure why this is happening, but if I add a new folder I have no problem saving the URL to the new folder. In order to place the URL in the folder I originally wanted it to go to, I need to click on "Favorites" > "Organize Favorites" > Move the URL to the intended folder and then it seems to work.
Really a pain to go through! There must be something going on that is causing this, but I have no clue what it could be. My only thought is that there is a limitation on the number of URLs one can add to a favorite folder.
I would really appreciate any input on what's needed to do to correct.

Adjusting the Size of Display
Information that appears on the left side of my display is hidden from sight on that side. For example, the first word I can view at the left top is "Edit" rather than "File." How do I adjust this?
