My OS is Windows 10 Home.

I compressed my back up hard drive D:, it is a Western Digital Black 500GB.  Afterwards all my MS word documents that I had stored on this hard drive D: before the compression in a folder I created on this hard drive D: named "my documents" are now gone.  No, these MS word documents on my D: drive were not copies of my other MS word documents stored on my C: drive.  These documents stored on the D: drive were original to themselves.

I have uncompressed this drive D: and the original folder "my documents" with it's MS word documents have not come back. 

How do I recover these MS word documents ?

Logged in tonight to find auto updates running on the PC. On the auto restart i now only receive the error “windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation.”   I have tried reading a few threads that seemed to be related but my level of technical expertise is limited.  I have read several folks mention URL’s but my system just starts the boot up and i dont know how to get to that info if i keep receiving this error.  Next step?

送受信したいメールアカウント***@hotmail.comです。

2週間ほど前に気づいたのですが、Outlook2016にてメールが送信できなくなっていました。

受信は可能です。

自分自身にメールを送信しても配信不能のメールがリターンされてくる状態です。

以下のエラーメッセージです。

 

このメッセージを送信できませんでした。指定されたユーザーの代理としてメッセージを送信するアクセス権がありません。

 

アカウントを一度削除し、再度追加しても再現します。

Outlook.comからは正常に送信できます。

他の設定しているメールアカウントは正常に送受信できます。

プロファイルの種類は"Microsoft Exchange"です。

 

どのように対処すればよいでしょうか。

はじめまして。石川と申します。

質問内容は、件名のとおり、私から送信した文書等が相手には届くものの、送信した私のメルアドが文字化けして相手に表示される。

こちらの送信済みも確認したが、同じようになっている。

大変申し訳ございませんが、文字化けをしない方法を教えて頂きたい。

Обновил Windows на Lumia 640 до 10 версии. Напрочь отказал диалог выбора файлов - не работает нигде.

В Microsoft Edge когда на каком-либо сайте нажимаешь на "прикрепить файлы" или "обзор" - ничего не происходит. В SMS-сообщениях, если нажать на скрепку и выбрать "Фото или видео" - выдаёт ошибку "Сейчас не удается вложить файлы. Повторите попытку позже".

В Total Commander при нажатии на "Заданное пользователем расположение" также ничего не происходит.


Trying to solve a "critical process died" code in Windows 10

Based on other online guidance I've done the following but am now stuck.

Here's what I've found and done so far.

In Safe Mode, I looked at my drivers and there is "yellow triangle" over the Generic PnP Monitor.

I ran sfc /scannow at the Command Prompt. It got to 52% verification then told me "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of the. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. I typed that and up came a "notes-type screen and about a dozen messages with "explorer.exe - Application Error" at the top and some variation of: "The instruction at 0x (etc.) referenced memory at 0x0 (etc.). The required data was not placed into memory because of an I/O error status of 0xc000000e. Click on OK to terminate the program." I clicked OK on all until messages stopped appearing.

I ran sfc /scannow again but got the same message as the first time (see above). 

I tried to use Dism (Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth) and other commands as a next step but get "Logging is disabled: Unable to obtain access to the log file... Error: 2  An error occurred. The directory in the temporary folder C:... could not be created. Ensure that the path to the temporary folder exists and that you have Read/Write permissions on the folder." I'm now stuck as I have no idea what that means. More importantly I've run out of steps to try. Anyone with ideas out there?

Hello everyone.

I just keep getting this Blue Screen of Death when starting up my laptop since the Windows 8.1 days, but I now have the urgency to resolve the issue.

The problem starts when I turn it on, the computer posts as normal but then it freezes for a second and the blue screen pops up.

The stop code is: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

Laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad S400 with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

I created a new Skype account today that I want to use for work purposes.

The first time I tried, it shows my private email address as my user ID (I don't want people to have my personal email address).

When I tried a second time with my phone number, it gives me this as a user ID: cid-(-7528840274357603397)@outlook.com

The article Skype gives me on this page: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA110/how-do-i-change-my-skype-display-name seems to be completely outdated! And it seems that a LOT of people are having this same issue.

How can this be fixed? And why has Skype been making this so difficult for users???

Email acting weird on mobile phone

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and I'm using Hotmail for the default email account on the phone.  This has worked fine for several years, now all of a sudden I cannot "reply" or "forward" emails now?  I can receive emails and send emails, just cant reply or forward.  When I try to reply, the screen flickers 2 or 3 times and the message "Loading messages...." pops up.  It just hangs there and never goes away.  I have restarted phone, took battery out, even deleted the email account and set it back up again on the phone.  None of this helps.  Does anyone know what is going on?

Office not Working Properly After Latest Update

Hello All,

After the latest MS fall update, my Home and Student 2007 Office has been having issues.

I believe the latest update  installed the new 'My Office' program/app

Every time I start word or excel I get an error and it wants to run the setup program again.

If I keep cancelling these prompts, it will eventually come up.

When I try and run the new My Office, it ask for me to sign in, which I do successfully, but then

wants me to sign in again (because I'm accessing sensitive info) at which time it says there is a problem and

aborts. What the heck happened and how do I fix this? I also deleted my previous copy of Windows due to

disk space. Did this cause this issue I'm now dealing with?

My pc hard disk had failed, and knowing that it was about to fail I made a back up. So I got a new hard drive and set it all up with windows 10 and the recovery drive that I got with it. But now I cant get the files that I backed up on to my pc (back up files are on external hard drive). I've tried to recover them through the settings but all it said that I could restore was the file it backed up today. I couldn't find the files that I backed up from the old hard drive. Even if I could find the files in the file explorer. So how do I get all of my stuff off the external drive on to my new hard drive?

Command button macros won’t work on shared file

Can someone please help me finding a solution to share an excel file with common buttons and macros with multiple people and allowing them to make changes in real time? 
I tried using Microsoft one drive excel online but it is very limited so it when I open it the comman buttons are not in the workbook anymore. Is there another system i can use ? Another alternative ?  Please help!
