Skype...WTF?
Good golly! How could MS possibly screw up a great, intuitive app more? WTF? It used to be so easy and literally enjoyable to hear the Skype tone on an incoming call. Now, it's impossible to do much of anything with it, including inviting my girlfriend to join Skype while she's on a cruise with her family. It's now worthless. Oh, BTW, all the old online website instructions, that no longer apply to version 7.40.x are still up and running. Thanks for majorly screwing up a great app.

Skype name
Hi There ~ so it stated that I couldn't change my skype name ~ that I had to create a new account. So I did but didn't see where to add new skype name. The new account was created and I now have a generic skype name.... Now what? I created new account in skype app, not on the web...
Do I have to create yet another account? I just want a different skype name! Thanks so much!

Windows Live Mail - send and receive problem
Hi,
I have been having problem with windows live mail which does not send and receive.
The MS guys suggested that may be due to updates therefore we restored the system by 5 days. But that did not resolve. I still get error 0x80004005
Unable to send or receive messages for the Optusnet.com (matai772) account. An unknown error has occurred.Anyone can help me, please?

Applications/ shortcuts not opening
I cannot open any files that I brought onto my laptop via another USB. It says error due to side-by-side configuration. I've checked online for how to fix this and I've seen numerous replies on how to do it. But, none of them worked including downloading
a c++ file and even doing a full system check and restarting my laptop. Nine of them worked so I need help. Any help is Appreciated.

Excel slow to open on local session
Hi all,
Every time I try to open Excel there is a 10-20 second delay before anything happens. This happens whether I open Excel on it's own or by clicking on a spreadsheet.
Once Excel is open, there is no delay to open files through File -> Open, but there is still a delay to open files by clicking on them normally.
The strange part? This only happens on local sessions, when I am physically using the computer. When I am logged in remotely using remote desktop, Excel always opens instantly.
Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Email Translation
I have cousins in Europe that I communicate with via email. There languages are French, German and Dutch. In the past I would just right click on the email and a dropdown would appear with a Translate function, which I would click on and the email would be translated. I have been doing this for over 4+ years. A little over 2 weeks ago there was an automatic update to windows 10 and since that time the translate function will not work. The Translate function is still there except it appears to be fogged out ; not dark, like its activated. I now have a number of Christmas emails and i can not read them. I would like to know if anyone else is having this problem and how they Fixed it. I am thinking I should open a Google or Yahoo account and then forward these emails to myself so that I can Translate them(What a waste of time. O well that's Microsoft.).
