Hi
I'm creating a prototype for a set of cards, to print them off to check for positioning/readability/etc.
The card images have a deliberate extended border around them. I want to place them in a table so that they are central to each cell and the overlaps are hidden (don't show over the top of adjacent cells).
Placing them "Behind Text" allows them to be positioned correctly, but the border extends past the cell boundary.
Placing them "In Line With Text" crops the overlap, but the picture will not place past the top left corner regardless of which position attribute is used, so the bottom right is missing. Cropping the picture removes part of the image but not the bounding
box, so the picture still doesn't centre. Negative margins would fix the problem, but aren't allowed (I'm sure you used to be able to do that, and it's a fairly trivial thing to allow).
Other options give one or both of the above issues.
Unsatisfactory Solutions:
Shrinking the pictures to fit.
Increasing the size of the table cells to fit.
Cropping the pictures before importing them.
Is there something I've missed, or is this just arbitrarily not allowed in Word? I feel like it should be an easy thing to do.
