I'm experimenting with SQL 2016 Always Encrypted. I have a test database with a table that has two columns encrypted.

I built a little Visual Studio app that can read and decrypt the columns. So I have everything work (encryption, certificate, ect). As we use Excel for viewing SQL data quite often, I'm attempting to get Excel connected to the database and decrypt the columns for display. I've been unsuccessful in my pursuit and am looking for pointers.

I've created an ODBC connection using the ODBC Driver 13 for SQL Server driver which I read was required. When I walk through the Data Connection Wizard in Excel utilizing this ODBC connection it only displays the non-encrypted columns. When I open the New Query wizard and connect to the database, I see all the columns but the encrypted columns show "binary" in the fields. I'm assuming I need to add

I'm assuming I need to add something similar to ColumnEncryptionSetting=Enabled somewhere in Excel similary as I did with my Visual Studio app but cannot figure out where.

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to connect Excel to a SQL database that is utilizing Always Encrypted columns.

I had just installed windows on my brand new custom PC (its motherboard being the asus b150 pro gaming/aura with an intel gigabit lan) when i tried connecting using an Ethernet cable to my home network connection (after having installed the needed drivers from the motherboard's installation disk, when the error message "One or more network protocols are missing on this computer". I checked online for help and followed "http://windowsreport.com/network-protocol-missing-windows-10/"'s step 2,3 and 4 with no apparent result other than the fix "Restore network protocols to default settings" found by the troubleshooter, which fails once initiated with administrator rights (Please keep in mind that these fixes have had me change in my PC settings using command prompt so a quick read through by any of you to check for any dangers of my commands would be rather appreciated). I tried a fix I read online where first I check to see if I have any corrupted files, a rather common source of this error, so I use the "sfc /scannow" command in cmd, nothing missing and no errors, then used the "Network connections" path in the "Network and Internet" section of the control panel and open my Ethernet's properties and click "Install" then "Protocol" and install the missing ones; however, it worked for only 2 of my 3 missing protocols, the 3rd one (the Hyper V Extensible Virtual Switch) receiving the error message of "Could not add the requested feature. The error is: The specified module could not be found" which is rather puzzling considering my scan yielded no indications of a corrupted file. While in the properties menu I also noticed that the "Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Protocol" is unchecked and would return to that state the moment I press OK, even after manually checking it. Please keep in mind that this is a fresh install of Windows on a Custom PC so there are no installed apps of any sorts other than the ones included with Windows 10 Pro (my current version) and the drivers and utilities Disc that came included with my motherboard as a starting point for all my drivers before updating them. Any professional help would be welcomed and rather appreciated and thank you.  

PS: I tried plugging the Ethernet cable to every LAN port on my router which fixed nothing, I'm also certain that my Ethernet port is receiving some form of input as it's LED indicator is lit and that the router is receiving internet with ample speeds for connection to a PC. I've also tested the cable with other devices and it appears to work just fine. Thank you and have an amazing day/night.

Excel2013を使っています。あるファイルで新しいシートを作成すると、できた新しいシートの全てのセルのセルの表示形式が「時刻」になってしまいます。これを「標準」に戻したいのですが（はじめから「時刻」にならないようにしたい）、どうすればいいのか分かりません。なぜ「時刻」になってしまうのかも分かりません。はじめから新しく作成したファイルではそのようなことはありません。「標準」のままです。よろしくお願いします。

Hi,
I recently installed a s/mime certificate on a client (office 2011) for MacOSX 10.12.2.
However, the whole outlook client crashes immediately every time I try to send a signed mail to anyone. (mail is not being send)

What I did so far:
- Imported the certificate to the systems keychain (my certificates)
- Selected the certificate in the security tab under account settings in Outlook
- 
But I really need this to work on MAC.
The error message is the same every time:

I'm having an issue using the Table of Figures feature under References Tab. I have Figures in my document labeled Figure 1A, Figure 1B, Figure 1C, Figure 1D and would like to label them as such in the Table of Figures. However, when I try to incorporate these designations in the Caption, Word will not allow me to have 1A, 1B, 1C etc. Instead, it automatically labels the Figures as 1,2,3,4.

How do you make Word allow alphanumeric figure titles in the Table of Figures feature?

I have run out of options.  Since November 2016, every time Windows 10 runs Automatic Update, it downloads the latest Insider update, goes through the installation, and then reverts to the previous build.  I have tried all published fixes to no avail.  I have clean installed version 1607, and tried updating to no avail.  I have clean installed versions 15002, and been locked out of activating my only working installation of Windows.  In addition, I can install 15002, but cannot reboot it.  Fails everytime, and goes into an endless loop of trying to reinstall.

Someone please convince me the following logic is incorrect.  I have been running Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 on my Macbook Air using Virtual Box for more than 3 years with no problems. Since mid November 2016, I have not been able to update to any current Insiders Program version.  I have clean installed the latest version of 1607 from the iso available on the Microsoft website.  I install all available updates using the Windows Update app, then enable the Insider Program.  Then, I install the latest Insider Update version using the Windows Update app.  And, the update fails.  Nothing exists on my computer except what Microsoft has provided.  No settings have been changed.  Therefore, the problem has to be some incompatibility between my hardware, Virtual Box, and the clean Windows 10 OS provided by Microsoft.  

I have also tried to clean install the latest Insider Program versions directly from the iso files available from Microsoft.  So far, I can get the system installed and running, perform normal updates, enable the Insider Program Fast track, but, cannot activate it, and it fails to restart.

Office 365 Personal allows you to install Office on one PC or Mac, one tablet and one phone. I don't need to install it on my iPhone, but I would like it on my Dell Venue 8 Pro and my iPad. Is it possible to install Office on two tablets instead of a tablet and a phone? I haven't yet purchased Office 365 Personal, but it would be great if I could do this.  Thanks for any feedback.

Someone in the house inadvertently installed windows 10 on the PC. They tried to uninstall it and uninstalled Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010. I was able to actually uninstall windows 10 but now cant’ install Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010. I have the CD and the license key. I tried uninstalling all the Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010 updates and  and updated the Windows 7 OS updates restarted PC. I tried again to install Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010. Still comes up with the (Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010 encountered an error during setup)message. Any suggestions on how to get this Office suite installed on our PC?

壁紙をスライドショーで設定したいのですが、肝心のフォルダが設定できません

スライドショーではなく画像にすれば、壁紙を変えることはできます

ですが、スライドショーだと何度フォルダを指定しても無視され、壁紙も変更されません

ロック画面でスライドショーを指定しようとすると、フォルダーの場所はサポートされていませんと出て指定できません

どうすれば指定できるのでしょう？

画像フォルダを移動する、以外の方法でお願いします

Buen día.

Resulta que los íconos de documentos de office aparecen como una hoja en blanco, sin logo ni nada. Los iconos de sonido aparecen como una hoja en blanco pero con un logotipo azul redondo que da la idea de un disco.

Los iconos de programa si aparecen correctamente y funcionan bien.

¿Cuál seria la solución ya que he intentado restaurar el sistema y no ha funcionado?

オフィスプリインストールのPCを購入し、オフィスのライセンス認証をしようとしていますが、

プロダクトキー（PC同梱）とMSアカウント（前のPCで作成した既存アカウント）を入力したところ

「申し訳ございません。このプロダクトキーは既に使用済みか、または別のMicorsoftアカウントで一部が使用されています。以前に使ったMicrosoftアカウントでやり直すか、カスタマーサポートにお問い合わせください。」

「エラーコード：2042」

「関連付けID：（略）」

といったメッセージがでて、認証が完了しません。

プロダクトキーは本日封を切ったものですので、使用済みのはずがないのですが、、、。

対応策をご教示いただきたく、よろしくお願いいたします。

Hola. Hace unos días, jugaba al juego Geometry Dash, y hoy, al iniciarlo, cada vez que doy click se me minimiza. No he instalado nada, me ha dejado de funcionar así, de repente. Necesito ayuda :-|

Hola que tal, tengo un problema con mi laptop, la compre con windows 8 hace un par de años y sola se iba actualizando, tuve windows 10, llegando a esta actualización no podía abrir AutoCAD, puesto que manejo ese programa, la mande a formatear y me dejaron con windows 8, el problema es que no puedo entrar a la tienda, se queda cargando y no entra, quiero actualizar a 8.1 pero no puedo por que no puedo entrar a la tienda, alguna solución? adjunto imagen
