La opción de apagar la pantalla se cambia sola cada x tiempo en opciones de energia.
Hola,
desde hace tiempo quiero formular una pregunta que sucede en todos los windows 7 que he visto hasta ahora y que me ocurre con el equipo limpio recien instalado igualmente y en cualquier equipo que he visto.
Para desactivar el apagado de pantalla basta con meterse en opciones de energia y marcar en "apagado de pantalla" NUNCA. En el apartado avanzado del mismo tb se puede desactivar igualmente ademas de más cosas. Al desactivarla se desactiva perfectamente y dura desactivada unos 5-10 dias, quizá a veces menos ya que es impredecible. Tiempo despues vuelve a activarse sola para marcase "20 minutos". SIEMPRE cuando se activa sola lo hace con la opción de 20 minutos. Si desactivo otra vez volvemos a lo mismo, x dias despues vuelve a activarse y asi hasta la saciedad. La modalidad que tengo puesta que no la he dicho es Alto rendimiento, pero configurandolas a medida en el apartado avanzado viene a ser lo mismo. Evidentemente uno se da cuenta que se activa sola cuando la pantalla se te apaga.
A lo largo de los años he visto esto en unos 10 equipos más o menos y ocurre en todos igual. Todos los que he desactivado se activa de nuevo. No creo que sea casualidad, pero tengo curiosidad por saber como arreglarlo. Lo curioso es que todas las demas opciones siempre se guardan exceptuando esa. Espero que alguien pueda ayudarme. Homegroup and Network Sharing -- have never been able to make it work properly
Just in case Microsoft moderators are reading this...
I am an experienced DOS and Windows user, going back 30 years.
In all that time, I have only intermittently been able to make my Homegroup work. And even when it did, I usually had to move files around using only one computer to control the others, as using any of the others resulted in access denied and other nonsense.
I must have spent a hundred hours or more trying to fix my Homegroup. Been at it for two or three hours today. Set all computers to no password required, set all folders to sharing on the Homegroup. Does not work. Nothing. Endless demands for Enter Network Credentials. What the blazes are Network Credentials? No matter what valid passwords I enter, it won't work.
So I give up. Permanently. I have set up a cloud service (not blessed Microsoft who have cut the GB allowance massively) and I am sharing files between one computer and another by uploading and downloading to my cloud service. This actually works.
Why is there not in Windows a user interface for Homegroup Management which allows you to simply click the options that actually make this damned thing work?

I am not getting emails when I set up an event in Office 365
I just moved to Office 365 and am having trouble with getting email reminders for events. I am expecting that when I set up an event, in addition to the pop up on mobile and on Outlook Web App, I also get email. I ensure that by adding an email reminder when creating the event from Outlook Web App.
However, I am not seeing the emails come through - neither for one-time event, nor for recurring. My main need is for recurring events (I set up my bill pay reminders in my calendar, which is why I would like to receive emails), so any help/troubleshooting will be appreciated.
