We are currently migrating from Exchange 2010 to Exchange Online (aka Office 365). I have a hybrid environment set up, and all the migrations are working well so far, with one exception.
I have one user in our On Prem environment with about a 8 GB in his primary mailbox, but 135 GB in his on-prem archive.
So, when I try to migrate his mailbox to Exchange Online, the batch fails, telling me that the archive size exceeds the target quota of 100 GB.
I can't set his mailbox to use "automatic archive expansion" until it's migrated, and I can't migrate until I can allow the expansion.
I tried setting automatic expansion at the organization level, but that did not seem to change to behavior.
Anyone have an idea about some trick to get around this? Or a suggested strategy?
