I have a `HP all in one` running windows 10 which is still under warranty. The operating system became corrupt and the store wanted to send it away for it to be looked at. I tried to do a reinstall which failed as I did not have a boot disk. I paid tech person (Geeks to You) to fix the issue which they did sort of.
They put in a fresh install of Windows 10 (Home) build 1709 but they said that I needed to activate the with my product key. Here is the problem, I do not have the original product key. The store will not assist me as I have void the warranty as I used outside tech support.
How do I get a new product key as I should not have to purchase one as I already own windows 10.
Any support or advice will be appreciated.
