why Microsoft Security Essentials ask us to update for 7 days..?

Hi team.,

Im Mahender from india.,

well ., i thank the MSE providers for its free services..,

but im not able to understand that ., why MSE needs update for a week..,

if i didn't update it., i won't be able to use  it.,

please explain me.,,
