 Dell upgraded my system from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1before I purchased it:  Now "tweakBIOsdriverfirmware "ChipsetIntelMgt.EngineInterfaceDriver is "incompatible and won't install.

 2. I failed to turn the Firewall off, disable 3rd party apps, and pop up blockers, and McAfee malfunctioned when I restored computer to earlier state.

3.  McAfee then used remote access to install and run MCPR tool to uninstall & reinstall it.  Now I have duplicate McAfee  icons running simultaneously in the TASK MANAGER: (2x) McAfee Core Firewall, (2x) Vulnerability Scanner, (2x)Process Validation, WMI Provider Host (3x), etc.  They said to contact a tech. It's a OS configuration issue, not McAfee. 

Q & A:  How to end the duplicate tasks running processes.  Will it turn back on reboot or crash?  Is this an issue for Dell (Inspiron 3847)?  4.  I can't restore to factory state w/ (W-7), because my System Recover Disk is for W-8.1.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.  Sincerely, Kathie.

I have a pavilion P6270z CTO desktop.  I recently changed the HD and now get a stopcode: Driver IRQL not less or equal.  What Failed:ahcix.sys.  I have tried a 3T WD and a 3T seagate barracuda.  What is the cause?  Are these drives to fast for it or is there some other problem.

From last year on wards in my lumia 730 phone when i got call suddenly my two sims are off . automatically it shows invalid sim in settings......i try to switched off and on it again sometimes it will get network and it shows sims.....but sometimes it always shows invalid sims...i dont know whats the problem....i try to remove two sims and insert it again some times it will works fine ....i went to nokia care the technician said no problem on your mobile .. he also dont know whats the exact problm .just i back to home and use it again now from last 3 days  i got same problem again,,,,,anyone help me ...

I stopped receiving e-mails a few days ago on my Outlook.com account.

The e-mail is not configured on my computer. I use only outlook.com to access the account.

Is there any setting that has changed from Outlook.com and how can I go back to receiving e-mails on the online app?

Вообщем ребята, раньше у меня все было в порядке. Все работало исправимо, но потом я случайно включил игру, которую до этого не включал, я попытался ее закрыть, но когда я ее закрыл я заметил, что некоторые приложения невидимы, я попытался изменить разрешение, после все стало в порядке, но когда я попытался переключиться на свои любимые 1920x1080, у меня появилось пространство, которое я не могу убрать, я захотел это исправить, я попытался найти Настройки разрешения экрана, но ее нету, есть только параметры, но это не то что я искал(я скал разрешения экрана как на Windows 7) помогите, как это исправить?

Hej Microsoft. Jeg har netop haft fat i jeres telefoniske supportuden held, da jeg forsøger at få min mors ældre Toshiba til at fungere igen, da vi har måtte konkludere at opgraderingen til Windows 10 var mere end maskinen kunne klare. I den forbindelse satte jeg (efter længere tid, da jeg er en dårlig søn som har været længe om at kigge på problemet) gang i den automatiske nedgradering til Windows 7, men dette har efterladt lidt problematisk adfærd og nogle strenge til en version af Officepakken som ikke længere er der, og som heller ikke kan slettes. Umiddelbart ikke et problem tænkte jeg, da bagsiden af computeren indeholder produktnøglen til Windows 7, og jeg derfor blot kunne hente en "frisk version" som så kan installeres på maskinen igen. Men ak nej - jeres hjemmeside henviser til at produktnøglen er koblet til enheden, og jeg skal derfor kontakte Toshiba, som ikke længere leverer den boot CD som jeg så mangler til enheden (enheden er for gammel skriver de). På baggrund af svaret fra jeres support - som oplyser til at sagen er imellem mig og leverandøren af udstyret - må jeg derfor enten købe en ny Windows licens eller en ny computer, alene fordi min mor i sin tid kom til at acceptere den tvungne opdatering til Windows 10. Mener I virkelig at det er fair, og kan det virkelig være helt umuligt at få lov at bruge den licens som oprindeligt er købt med til computeren i sin tid? (Windows 10 - PC) I recently installed Chrome by mistake. It was included in something else I was downloading. I have deleted the program by going through Control Panel, but every time I turn on my computer, Chrome opens. Please can someone advise me how I can delete this programme, and stop this happening.

I have tried opening task manager while Chrome is running, to find out the location, but when I close the browser and I try and go back to delete it from that location it wont allow me. It says the programme is still running, and needs to be closed.

All help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

Dear All

Some of the Office 365 2016 outlook users are getting the following error. Please find the attachment I captured this from the system.

“Outlook cannot log on. Verify you are connected to the network and are using the proper server and mailbox name. The Microsoft Exchange information service in your profile is missing required information. Modify your profile to ensure that you are using the correct Microsoft Exchange information service.”

Usually I delete the profile and recreate then it will work for another a week. But again it will come.

Client is using window 7 64 bit edition all the windows updates are up to date.

Can anyone help on this issue.  because of this reason some of the users I downgraded to Office 365 2013 edition, this edition no issues it works perfectly.

I have tried several times to update to the Anniversary update, but keep getting this error.

After reading many posts, I have tried

- unplugging all USB devices

- downloading using the media creation tool

- Restore and repair system files using DISM.exe

The computer has an Intel Desktop Board DX58SO board with an SSD drive for the OS along with a few hard drives in RAID.

Any ideas?

I have thousands of old emails dating back to 2006 and I want to delete all of them older than a couple of years old but there seems to be no easy way to do this.

J'ai eu le problème de ne plus recevoir mes e-mails automatiquement lorsque j'ai remis en route mon lumia 620 dimanche matin...Je suis aller dans ma "messagerie mails" - Paramètres - paramètres de synchronisation -   (j'utilise Hotmail...)  - et la dernière ligne qui s'appelle serveur était remplit mais mauvaise manip. et plus la ligne originale... Je n'arrive pas a trouver le terme qui devrait être inscrit!!!

Over a year ago I visited the Microsoft Windows 10 site and found that my PC (Sony VAIO All-in-one running Win 7) was compatible with Win 10.

I upgraded to Win10 and have been running it ever since. There have been problems from time to time, but they seemed to be the sort of things that were happening to many users.

Then, on 21 January this year, the system started to experience failures (reboots), rising in number to 16 a day, and then falling away to nothing (after about a week). I spoke to Sony who say that machine is not compatible with Win 10. They have sent me the disks so I can go back to Win 7. However, the system is now behaving normally.

Does anyone have an useful comment to make to me about this? I am trying to decide whether to go back to Win 10, or just let things ride.

I am about to install Office 365, bu want to make sure I first have a stable platform.
