Windows Update says "Windows is up to date" but the update history shows some not installed.

I have a new Windows 7 system. After applying all updates and then checking for updates one last time, Windows Update says:

"Windows is up to date. There are no updates available for your computer."

However, I took a look at the update history, and one update is listed as "failed" (and is NOT listed as successful anywhere else in the history. )

My question: Can I always trust Windows Update when it says "Windows is up to date" and safely assume that such failed updates are either not needed or covered by a different update? ...Or do I need to make sure these failed updates get installed successfully?

The failed updated listed is:

Então eu o aguardei desligar ''luzes'', depois coloquei o carregador novamente e aguardei 1 minuto. Após, o liguei novamente, porém ao colocar minha senha e iniciá-lo, aparece ''Preparando Windows'' e o meu windows 8.1 sumiu e apareceu 10, o que foi isso?

Desde que apareceu a atualização, já tentei de várias maneiras instalá-la mas sempre trava o pc. Já tive que reinstalar 2 vezes o windows, mas sempre que tenta fazer esta atualização fica totalmente travado. Numa das vezes inclusive formatei o HD, ficou totalmente zerado e aconteceu o mesmo. Desabilitei a atualização automática e o windows está funcionando normalmente, porém comprei o Minecraft antes deste problema e toda vez que tento abrir o jogo, ele manda habilitar as atualizações automáticas, e aí tudo se repete. Não sei o que fazer, Meu computador é o Lenovo all in one. O modelo traz tela touchscreen de 23 polegadas com resolução Full HD, Intel i7 4770, 8 GB de RAM e 1 TB de armazenamento. O PC traz placa de vídeo Radeon 8570M com 2 GB de memória dedicada. O dispositivo possui ainda o leitor de Blu-Ray, saída de áudio JBL e leitor de cartão.

PS. Todos os programas da Lenovo que veem instalado de fábrica foram removidos na formatação, não tendo nenhuma possibilidade deste bloqueio estar sendo feito por estes programas pré-instalados.

Por favor me ajudem, já tentei algumas soluções apresentadas aqui e outras de outros sites, porém nada solucionou meu problema.

The game loads & plays just fine... however, while the game is in progress, I can read messages from the other players but cannot send messages.  I type my message in the message box, click on the send button and the message disappears as if it were sent, but it does not appear in the messages box above.

My op sys is windows 10

why is there a little English flag under some messages in chat?

Boa noite, peguei um notebook(ultrabook series 5 Samsung) com um amigo mas estou tendo problemas.

Antes de me entregar o PC, com win10, ele fez a restauração do sistema, que correu bem e chegou aos 100% mas quando vai iniciar ocorre o erro 0x0000221 com a seguinte mensagem:

"O computador precisa de reparo. O sistema operacional nao foi carregado porque o kernel esta ausente ou contem erro"

Logo eu pensei e fui pesquisar pra confirmar o que eu imaginei: Baixei o assistente de reparo e reinstalação e coloquei no pen drive(esse ultrabook nao tem leitor de cd), isso certamente corrigiria o problema porque mesmo se nao reparasse conseguiria reinstalar o sistema.

Mas ai vem o maior problema, eu nao consigo dar boot, e ja tentei com dois pendrives diferentes que funcionam perfeitamente em outra maquina. Quando vou no setup ele reconhece que há o pen drive mas nao adianta coloca-lo no topo da prioridade do boot e nem desativar os outros dispositivos. 

Quando estao desativados os dispositivos e só fica o pen drive ele volta a tela de setup e quando nao desativo ele tenta dar o boot pelo windows normal e volta pra tela de erro.

Gente, ja nao sei o que fazer, se alguem souber resolver por favor me ajude!

After installing the "Creators Update", Windows no longer recognizes my bluetooth antenna (ASUS dual Wifi/Bluetooth). In device manager, it now appears as an "unrecognized usb device (device descriptor request failed)".

I've tried:

- uninstalling the device and installing the proper driver

- updating the bios

- physically connecting/reconnecting the antenna

- rebooting

- unplugging the power cable

- various combinations of everything mentioned above

I would like to continue using the latest version of Windows 10, if possible. Any ideas on how to fix this?

win10多次更新后，磁盘管理中能看到很多个恢复分区，目前有8个恢复分区了，已关掉系统还原并删除还原点。

在磁盘管理中这些恢复分区右键只显示帮助，无法删除，请问怎么解决？

I went looking for some old emails in my Hotmail accout the other day and found that they only go back to 2007. Is it possible to access emails from before this date? It's also possible that I'm misremembering when I started my Hotmail account but I don't think so.

HI

I have an MSN hotmail account, now that you have "Unimproved" Outlook it is pretty useless to me. I send out a blind copy to about 30 astronomy club members about events at an observatory that only have 24 hours notice. I used to do it with groups, then that did not work, so I saved the email addresses elsewhere and copied them into the email. That worked for about 6 months and now microsoft is "unimproving" it AGAIN so I can't even do that. THIS make is USELESS to me, and now I have club members who will not get timely notifications till I get something worked out. AM I PISSED?, YOU HAD BETTER BELIEVE IT. maybe time to ditch microsoft and go to linix or even a mac. Please get your act straightened out before you get people soooooo pissed of they quit using your products. TO BAD MANAGEMENT DOES NOT read these complaints.

anyone have a good solution to sending out bulk emails using blind copies??

I will not even touch the subject of Win 10 updates that screw with my astronomy telescope controls and uninstall software I need for cameras and telescopes to work. Nothing like arriving at the observatory at 3 am for a 4 am event to find out you have to reinstall software, or heaven forbid windows wants to do an update that takes 2 or more hours tying up the computer while you miss the event. I am getting pretty frustrated with microsoft. Problem is we use the internet for some of the telescope controls, and when we do Microsoft wants to update and screw with the programing.

Hello,

I want to make a template that will incorporate a 'buy now' button which will obviously involve code - can this be done in Outlook? l.e. construct the template in Outlook? - if not can such a template built in another program be imported into Outlook and be modifiable in Outlook?

春川と申します。

社内プロジェクトで試用してみようと思い、Office365グループを作成しました。

デフォルトで生成されるグループのアイコンが分かりにくいものだったので、別の画像に変更しました。

当初はグループと同時に生成されるチームサイトのロゴも経b工されるのかと思いましたが、

違うようなので　チームサイト⇒サイトの設定　を確認してみましたが、[外観]欄には

【タイトル、説明、ロゴ】 は見当たらず変更することができません。

権限は「フルコントロール」となっていますが、他にも設定などが必要なのでしょうか？

I am having lumia 540 and both cameras are not working.

I have tried everything changing the region, hard and soft reset turn on and off.

I am sure the the hardware is not damaged as suddenly both the cameras cant stop working.

I have also updated my phone to windows 10 and then again rolled back to 8. In windows 10 it would give me error codes. But in windows 8 its just that it starts and the previous screen reappears. I have also tried third party apps but no luck.

Is it possible to sign out of the new Skype for WIN 10? I accidentally signed in with an old account and I don't have access to newer business contacts. I can't find any way to sign out so I can sign in with the newer account.

Na tela de bloqueio/login tem a opção de gostar ou não do wallpaper aleatório.

Sugestão: um botão para manter o wallpaper por mais tempo ou um botão que indica que você gostou pra caramba, ou talvez um ranking de com estrelas.

お世話になります。

Outlookを起動すると、「Windowsのセキュリティ」でパスワード入力画面を繰り返し要求されます。
「資格情報を記憶する」にチェックを入れて、パスワードを入力しても同じ事象が発生します。
Outlook上で送受信はできており、OWAでも問題なく送受信は可能です。

社内の複数名で発生しており、非常に困っております。

解決方法をご教示ください。

HI there,

I hope this is a quick fix. One reason I use Skype for conferencing is that I can see in a small PIP window the person I am conferencing with while I am working on documents with them. WHAT happened? Please tell me how to fix this. is there a way to turn it on?

If this feature was dropped during this remake of Skype, PLEASE PLEASE bring this back. If it doesn't return, I will abandon Skype for Hangouts or Facetime, as that is what is often used by others, and I ask people to come to Skype for me. IF there is no difference between the platforms, I will just use what everyone else uses.

If you can get me to the previous versions that does this, that would also be appreciated.
