My camera was working fine on Windows 10 and skype. When I installed the new version of skype it's not working any more.
when I use the skype settings and I test the video The light of my camera lights up and my screen becomes black with the arrow of my mouse trembling. The only way to continue is to push the escape button.

I have a Dell laptop running windows vista business, that also has dell media center.
It is a XPS M1330
It is stuck in a startup repair loop, and it wont let me log in to my account or the root administrator account because it is connected to a domain.
I tried restoring to the factory image but it doesn't load.
I don't have the recovery or install disks anymore, all I have is the product key on the bottom of the laptop.
I need the computer for school and i'm not sure how to fix it.

Auch nach Deinstallation und Neuinstallation kann EXCEL als einzige Komponente der Office-Suitenur im abgesicherten Modus gestartet werden. Meldung "EXCEL funktioniert nicht mehr". Meldung nach 2 weiteren Startversuchen: "Excel hat wiederhergestellte Dateien gefunden. Diese Dateien werden geöffnet, wenn EXCEL das nächste Mal im normalen Modus startet." [[ohne, dass ich files geöffnet habe]]. "Diese Dateien werden geöffnet, wenn Sie EXCEL das nächste Mal starten." - Beim nächsten Start werde ich gefragt: "... Wählen Sie "Open XML format oder Opendocument Format" , nach der Zwangsauswahl: endgültiger Absturz und Einfrieren des Bildschirms mit einem grünen Rechteck in der Bildschirm-Mitte und dem Hinweis "Excel wird geladen!" (o.ä.)
Was kann man noch mehr unternehmen, als die Office-Suite neu zu installieren? - Ich habe auch dieregistry durch einen cleaner bereinigt, um ggf. Reste der Alt-Installation zu beseitige- Wer kennt das Problem? Wer weiß eine Lösung?

We used to have our PC connected to the TV and everything was working fine.
We have now moved it and connected to a screen but there is no sound with this screen. However, even if we connect headphones, speakers or anything, it does not work.
This has been ongoing for a long time.
All system updates are up to date. We run them daily.
There is a sound icon in the bottom left corner. I have tried to run the sound trouble shooter and it says it can't find any errors. I have also gone through various trouble shooting options online and looked through forums, but nothing seems to fix it.
The speakers are on, connected to the wall and I can hear they are actually working - but they are not playing the sound from the computer.
What have I missed? Any suggestions much appreciated!
is there a way to separate
i dont want hear every new message notification sound but i DO want to hear when somebody calls me.
at the moment i dont see this separation in settings.

Instalé windows 10 desde un USB hace unas semanas, y de repente me salían pantallazos azules, y no dejaban de salir cada 30 minutos, y hace unos dias me salio el error mencionado en el asunto, y no me deja entrar a windows, he tratado poner de todo y no me sale.
Entre aL Recovery y no puedo borrar todos los datos, y luego al CMD del recovery y use el comando CHDSK d: /f /r y nada, no me permite entrar a sistema seguro ni nada
Why oh why, now that Skype is 'integrated' into 'Mail' (W10) does it always switch Skype to 'available'??? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need the 'choice'...!!! It NEVER stays where you leave it status-wise...and I don't know about 'integrate'..it certainly 'grates'...yeuk. J x
PS I have just looked back on the discussion pages and somewhere there it mentions 'how to unlink Skype and Microsoft account'....and when you go there..it says..'unlinking these accounts in unavailable'.... er......er.......
Come on MS...get with it....we need Skype and Mail separated...quickly! JD.

Download wont install.
Install gets three quarters of the way and then stops
I have had my email compromised. They are claiming the account needs to be updated. First thing they want is that I re-enter my password to prove who I am. Of course I will not do that. I have the same problem with AOL and Gmail. Anyone else? Any suggestions? I contacted microsoft, (I think,) they laid out the fix map which I followed, it worked! I had email back...for about 1 minute then it returned to the problem.
