I have been using this setup for years and in mid-January-2016 it just stopped syncing. I use three other accounts and onlyHotmail does not sync.
I have deleted the account and re-installed it with no effect. It's not a POP account, so the files remain on the Hotmail server. The other three accounts are POP accounts.
Q1) Can you give me some suggestions what to try next?
Q2) On the off chance it's a Hotmail volume on server issue, what is the max?
Q3) If I need to install Hotmail as a POP account, what servers should I use?

Blue screen and computer keeps restarting

I have a brand new ASUS desktop. Windows downloaded 106 updates and then wanted to restart. After 2 hours 30 minutes it is still showing a blue screen with a whirligig and the word Restarting. Can anyone help please.

dowloading updates does not work
Windows 7 on Dell laptop. Disks are not full or particularly crowded. I want to run Update, have collected the list of current updates, say Install, and it hangs forever. It's a series of steps that I have done often, but not recently on that computer.
I run the Update Troubleshooter: it looks for problems, acts as though it found some, switches to "Resolving problems", and hangs. My impression is that lately that computer has been running slowly altogether. Protected with Microsoft Security essentials.
Would appreciate help on what to do next.

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-NW350F laptop computer that was recently given to me. I know that originally, this laptop ran on Windows 7, but before the laptop was given to me, a new hard drive that runs on Windows 8 was installed. I'd like to do a recovery, but every time I try, it says "insert media some files are missing. your windows installation or recovery media will provide these files". The problem is, I don't have any of that. So, I looked it up, and I was considering making a recovery DVD, but it says that I need to have a previously installed version of windows, so I tried to upgrade to windows 8.1, but it won't work. Do I actually need to do this or can I just make the recovery DVD's and go ahead with the system recovery? Please help! I'm absolutely lost!!

microsoft edge browser infected vith trojan virus
i just got a new Microsoft intel Pentium laptop with windows 10 last month and love all the features. i'm very careful downloading things because I don't want viruses ironically, so I download everything to a flashdrive except my 2 applications and the laptop has worked fine with them. today, after avid use of my laptop, it suddenly froze up with this alert. it says error code 0x8007042c and won't let me exit the page and tells me to contact the number 844-900-0399 and then press 1. it says my System32 .net frame work file is missing due to some harmful virus.
when I run security scans, they find nothing. I tried to end suspicious looking tasks, including one called "browser security alert" or something like that and when I did it shut down and restarted the laptop.
I don't know how I would've gotten a virus and it was working fine about an hour ago until this started. sorry if my description isn't very good, i'm not very tech savvy. I don't know what to do. I just want my laptop fixed and I'm hoping theres a simple solution.

Windows 7 Updater Problems
Earlier today, I was having issues with saving files in Word or even browsing files while in a program. When I did, the program I was using would just shut down or stop working. I did scans and such, and nothing was wrong so I did a Registry Restore which solved the issue.
After the Registry Restore, the Windows Update now constantly says that the computer needs to be restarted before the updates can take place. I have now restarted my computer at least a dozen times, and the Windows Update window has not updated from that at all. I have followed step by step guides on fixing Windows Update with various programs as well as doing it manually in the Command Prompt. I have also done a Clean Bot, but nothing seems to be working. I honestly don't know what else to do.

Unable to open Excel file configured with Windows Rights Management
I have this file that had been configured with Windows Rights Management to keep the file secure. Now when I am trying to open the file on my tablet, it starts to connect to the Windows Rights Management server, but then it shows an error "Server Error
in '/Certification' Application" "Cannot generate SSPI" etc. How do i open the file? it's an important file. I was able to open it before on my tablet. But i am not able to do it now. please help. I tried repairing Office with online repair. Have this issue
for quite sometime now. I contacted customer care and they asked me to post the query here as it was beyond the scope of their support! (whatever that meant).. Everything else is working perfectly fine. Only problem with this file. please help me retrieve
the data in the file, if nothing else.

我手里的640一直收不到win10预览版的推送 好久了。。。OS版本：8.10.15148.160应该符合推送的条件。已经了解lumia640在首批支持升级win10正式版的设备名单中，为什么我的设备收不到通知，是不是所有的符合条件的设备都能收到预览版的通知，还是部分？
另外640的自带存储为8G，就算什么软件也不装，扣除系统占用的空间，剩下的根本不够8G了，我倒是可以插上存储卡，存储卡上的空间可以用于下载更新的系统吗？请教各位了，谢谢

bin am Verzweifeln, ich kann andere Wlan-Netzwerke nicht finden. Ich wollte darüber ins Internet. Nur meine eigene wird angezeigt. Netzwerkerkennung ist eingeschaltet.
Manuelle eingabe des Netzwerks scheitert an der Anzeige des Dialogfensters "mit anderen Netzwerk verbinden".Erscheint nicht.

By bad luck I have played with the system properties and I have forgotten whether I checked or unchecked turn off system restore and since than I am so disturbed as not all
of my work going as smoothly as before.
I have performed the task of restoring my computer to an earlier time.is it OK??
One thing more is it necessary this task to be carried out by check or unchecked turn off system for protection and security. and coming back to its default settings???
I want to come back to its default position and settings.

У меня проблема с установкой обновления до виндовс 10. Уже вторую неделю идет поиск обновлений, и постоянно появляется сообщение не удалось загрузить обновления. Последний раз код ошибки 80200056. Ноутбук новый месяц назад купил установлена лицензия 8,1 до этого все обновления прошли нормально. Пробовал через средства устранения неисправностей ничего не помогает

re-login after sleep or hibernation
Ever since the November-update, my laptop has trouble with the loginscreen after sleep or hibernation. The screen loads normally, but I can't select the area to fill in my password or the powerbutton, as if it's ignoring my mouse and keyboard (though the
mouse still moves). I have to reboot my laptop everytime now, is there a solution to fix this?

Windows 7 Users issue
Hello,
I'm having this issue on my second laptop, which is that most of actions i need to perform require administration permission, the second problem that it requires username & password, and unfortunately, i forgot my admin user password, i tried to set a new account using cmd.exe, but it gives me that access is denied be cause i'm not an admin, i'm using a normal user account aswell.
how can i solve this problem? to set a new admin account or remove these permissions without being an admin?

Keyboard input stuck at English US on my wife's account

I live in the UK. I just got Windows 10 on my new PC last week - up to now everything seems to be fine. I set up an account for my wife and gave her her own settings for look and feel, eg a much bigger display than I like, colour and so on. Today, however, her account seem to be displaying US English input characteristics, most annoyingly by having an " (inverted comma) when she tries to input a @ (ampersand). Given the number of email this is annoying. She got around it by finding an @ and copying it in until she discovered via the MS Community that Shift 2 inputs a @ (which I believe is a US keyboard). The settings all seem okay (identical to the ones for myself) but whereas my sign in behaves itself and inputs as the keyboard I just can't get the other account to behave similarly. This has happened since I downloaded MS Office 2016 today - is this a coincidence? I was VERY careful to select the UK version. Any help appreciated before I lose the will to live and simply delete her account and we can revert to sharing the same account. Thanks
