Last week, one of the softwares that is installed on my computer had dates and times listed. After one of the updates by Windows 10, the dates and times disappeared. I know there is no data loss as I ca see the dates and times inside of the tables in the *.mdb, however, when the software is launched, the dates and times are no longer visible.
I have opened a ticket with Microsoft Support, but they have no answers. They suggested I post here until they can have someone call me back. I am not the only person experiencing the problem either. We have several hundred clients that use the same software. The dates and times have always been displayed, but something has happened to change that. What we have narrowed it down to is that it only impacts the workstations of those using Windows 10 Pro, and only those with a clean installation, not ones that were upgraded to 10 from an older version. For our clients on a network using the shared database, other members in the office still can see the display correctly, others that had the update to their individual workstation is impacted.
It happened to me personally as well. I can send that *.mdb to another user who is not impacted, and they still can see the dates inside of the software, and vice versa. I can put another *.mdb database in my program and I still can't see. So we believe it is a display problem. Microsoft walked us through hiding the most recent updates and uninstalling them, however, it does not change the display.
I could use all of the help I could get. This problem will impact all of our customers and I need a solution ASAP. Any thoughts?
