Just over a week ago, Microsoft tech support got us all connected to syncing files down to our computers using the sync preview for ODfB. It was working flawlessly UNTIL I came in on Monday to discover most of the files and folders had been deleted off the online drive. Subsequently, all synchronized computers lost these files as well. (not a happy moment) 

Since I'm the one who uploads the files, I assumed I may have inadvertently deleted some files. I found the deleted files in my computer's recycle bin and restored them and began uploading the files to ODfB. BUT THEN TODAY, I just discovered that each user's computers also have the deleted files in each of their recycle bins.

What mechanism would cause this to happen? How did the deletion occur? Where did it occur (cloud or local)? Is there any way to know?

Eu tinha um Lumia 730, o qual vendi após comprar um celular novo. O celular está de volta comigo por um motivo, o alto falante dele não está saindo som algum, nem chiados nem nada. Esse celular sempre funcionou corretamente quanto ao alto falante porém agr nenhum som sai dele. É possível isso ser resolvido pelo celular ou é realmente necessário levá-lo ao conserto caso tenha acontecido realmente algo ao alto falante? (O celular foi formatado antes de ser vendido)

Windows XP had a wonderful set of themes and screen savers, it was part of XP Plus. I still have the CD Install; Can I install the XP Plus on my Windows 10 PC? Specifically, the screen savers?

Hola. Estoy configurando mi cuenta Microsoft en un Lumia 920 que ha sido restablecido a su configuración inicial. Al introducir mis datos de login se me pide una verificación de identidad. Se me ha enviado un código de verificación con el que debo validar la configuración en el terminal. El problema es al introducir el código. Aparece un campo para introducir el código bajo el epígrafe "Escribe el código que has recibido", pulso sobre él, aparece el teclado virtual, escribo el código.... y ni rastro de una tecla "Enter" o similar que me permita validar la entrada. Ayuda para solucionar esta situación tan.... inusual, por favor.

I just had Excel 2016 (Running on the Mac) lock up, so I forced quite the application. When Excel opened I was greeted by: "file name [Last saved by user]" and a version of the document that was about an hour old. After looking through the preferences menu I discovered that Auto Recovery was set to 10 minutes, meaning I would assumethere is a more up to date copy floating around. 

I have already searched through:

User_Library_Containers_Com.microsoft.Excel_Data_Library_Preferences_AutoRecovery

Only to find an empty folder... Maybe I'm not looking in the right location, or maybe my system has something incorrectly configured, but any help in recovering this file would be appreciated.

Καλησπερα σας, διαβασα οτι 

στις 26/03/2017 θα διακοπει η υποστηριξη της αρχικης εκδοσης των windows 10 (εκδοση 1507) απο την microsoft, και οτι μαλλον οι οικιακοι χρηστες δεν θα επηρεαστουν αφηνοντας ανοιχτο το ενδεχομενο οτι μπορει και να συμβει.Στην αναζητηση .για ποια εκδοση εχω μου εβγαλε αυτη την εικοναΘα ηθελα να ρωτησω εαν θα πρεπει να προβω σε καποιες ενεργειες και ποιες ειναι αυτες.Ευχαριστω.

Picked up ransomware on msnbc ad that freezes the computer throws up messages that the computer is infected  and I have to call Mirosoft support now. 

I can get to task manager. Is there a way to close a single chrome tab process?

Otherwise , how do get rid of it?

I am constantly bombarded with messages stating my Microsoft Account  is out-dated and needs to be fixed, yet I can't do it because my e-mail password is incorrect yet it's not? And when i try to resent my password I spend twenty minutes typing stupid images and getting nowhere. Why can i talk to a human being and get it fixed. I have two emails and it's driving me nuts. I use outlook.com and sbcglobal.net and i use Windows ten; I don't use Microsoft's "mail" and maybes that the problem. I thought outlook.com was a Microsoft product.

I accidentally deleted a file before I attached it to send to another party.  It is not in the Recycle Bin.  Is there any other way to retrieve it?

Is there any point in buying a resolution higher than my present (integrate with board) graphics cardseems to support?

I am unable to send emails via windows live but can receive them have checked that everything is correct to receive but it keeps coming up with error cant find server my provider says its not them but my windows live account

Hallo,

ich habe mir Office Education auf mein Laptop installiert. Beim Öffnen der Anwendungen wird eine Aktivierung verlangt. Wenn ich mich mit der eingetragenen E-Mailadresse anmelde, bekomme ich die Meldung:

die in Ihrem Konto gefundenen Produkte können nicht verwendet werden, um [meine E-Mail] zu aktivieren.

Ich dachte, Education wäre für Schüler/innen und Studierende kostenlos. Muss ich jetzt doch ein Paket kaufen?

Hello,

I cannot set up the emails coming in to go to a junk or spam folder. All I want to see is my contact emails.  Why did you take away the control of our computers/phones. This is outrageous. 

All there is to do is ON or OFF.  Where the **** have you placed the real controls of MY COMPUTER.

вобщем конфиг у меня такой :

Intel Xeon E3-1230 V3 3.30GHz

16GB RAM 

под систему SSD 250GB Crusial MX200

фишка вот в чем:

после загрузки когда кружочки пролетят (винда стоит из под уефи) долго (может секунд 30 , а может и минуту) горит тупо черным экран!как и чем все узнать sfc /scsnnow всякие не работают

Exactly same problem for me too today. Receiving OK but can't send from my ISP address via Windows Live Mail, though can send OK from ISP's email platform. Came here to support site to look for some help with this, but it seems other folks having the same problem with windows live mail with no solutions offered.

I just get this error message every time ............

XSend 1 message(s) using [email address] - Status Failed

That's the entire message.

I cannot seem to find the answer to my question -

Scenario

An employee in a high profile position was recently terminated from my company.  Typically we disable the account,  but were asked just to change the password for this account.  In error, security allowed this employee back on the property, where he/she was able to login to his/her computer from the lock screen using the previous password. 

We have tested with other accounts and determined, even if the computer is connected to the network and communicating with the domain, a user is allowed to login in from a locked screen (1) time before the system recognizes the password has changed. 

This allows access to the system along with files.  If the user then locks the machine, the cached credentials will not work again. 

Hence we are changing our off-boarding procedures, however I am wondering if this is configurable and if so where?
