Prior to installing the latest Windows update, we could stream live tv (cbs.com) using Edge on both our wired desktop and wireless laptop PCs. Now we can't. On the desktop, once Edge/CBS has confirmed our location, we get a blank screen. On the laptop,
we can't get our location confirmed. I've just tried to stream live tv on the desktop using Chrome and everything works fine. So it's definitely Edge and it's related to the Creator's update. Please help.

visual studio에서 visual c++ 다운 관련 질문드려요
노트북은 삼성 아티브북9을 쓰고 있어요 (x64 체제)
팝업창이랑 용량정리하려고 포맷했는데 그 뒤로 문제가 생겼습니다.
와콤 타블렛 드라이버를 설치하려고 하니 api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll 문제가 생겼는데
이게 visual 프로그램 업데이트 문제때문이라고 하더군요
그래서 수동 다운로드로 다운로드를 받았는데 또 사진과 같이 문제가 생겨요
포토샵 시험버전 설치하는데도 Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable이란 창이 뜨면서 오류나구요
(그 내용은 Command line option syntax error. Type Command /? for help. 이렇게 뜹니다)

Windows problems with passwords and use of different devices
I have a pc, a laptop and a mobile phone. Windows alwas ask for account number and password. I forgot my account number since all was working properly for some years. Since I moved from Philippines to Thailand the crazy started.
The newest was that the asked me to change my account name from windows account since I did not know the name and password. After I changed the account name they cam again to ask for account nat acdess but they used again my old account name,The windows did not allow me to use the new account name i have changed with windows 2 days ago, instead the leaded me through some pages but there was a problem when the page asked for the decices to list, I have a pc i was using Windows 10 but no laptop was in this list I could mark. I use the laptop only when travelling to other places. Its very annoying for me with 72 years of age to handle all those things because I am no PC expert.
They also asked before allways to upgrade my office i purchased in 2013 but this is enough for me, so why should i pay for upgrade?
There are so many confusing details and no help to find for long time.
I think you will also not answer my message but I will see.
When I am back in Germany I think I must go to court against Windows. What do you think or recommend.
By the way my insurance will cover a process against Windows.

Outlook2016問題なく使用できていたが不具合が発生
Windows10でpersonal2016単品購入したoffice製品をインストールしました。
ライセンス認証が確認されほかのアプリケーションは問題なく起動できますが
Outlookだけ起動するとエラー表示されます。
エラー内容
MicrosoftOutlookは起動できません、Outlookウィンドウを開けません。
こフォルダーを開けません。Usersファイル氏名Documents Outlookファイル
****＠***ocn.ne.jp.pstは見つかりませんと表示されます
このエラー表示画面にあるOKをクリックすると
Outlookデータファイル作成/開くとういう画面表示になり
ファイル名作成するところにたどり着きますがその後どのうように
改善すれば元通りOutlook2016が使用できるのかわからないので
教えていただけますでしょうか？

Outlook.com no longer Syncs with other devices
Since October 2016, my Outlook.com stopped syncing with my Windows 8 phone (Chronos Calendar via the Windows 8 Calendar), and with my Outlook 2016 on my PC, and also with my Tablet (android)! Main use here was simply the Calendar (didn't bother with email etc.) so i could enter appointments on whatever device I had to hand at the time, knowing that my other Calendars would be automatically synchronised with same appointments.
It appears that the server that housed my Outlook.com account was replaced, but i have had no success in regaining the sync across my devices. I did seek help here a few months back but with no success. I did think all i needed was the name of the new server that houses my account, but not sure if it is that simple? Now wondering if the best solution is to set up a new MS Account? Can this be done, as I noticed that to delete my current one can take up to a month or more before it is totally deleted. If i set up a second account , can I make that my primary and delete my old one, which takes some time to be fully removed, but if my new one works as primary surely i can get my synchronization back?

Outlook search feature unreliable/unstable since Creators Update
Am using Office 2013 Prof’l Plus on Win 10 Home (64-bit). As soon as the Creators Update was applied about three days ago, the search feature in Outlook started displaying unstable/unreliable results. For example, a search for “received:>=05/01/2017”, which used to correctly show every item received starting with 1 May in all mailboxes, now also returns items that have already been permanently deleted (to include not merely left in a Deleted Items folder). Also, sometimes I can enter a single and extremely-unique search term in the search box and it will either not find all the instances (verified by manual searches in folders where I know they exist), or it will return nothing at all (with the line of horizontal dots that keep moving towards the right of the screen and never stop). When search returns an item that I know for sure has been fully and permanently deleted from every mailbox and folder (and I don’t receive or allow duplicates), when I double click on it or try to delete it, I get the dialog box “Outlook couldn’t open this item. Try again”. About half the time when I get wrong search results, if I close Outlook completely, re-launch it and re-run the exact same search, it will come back with the right results ... but not always, which is just as bad as “never”. Checking the indexing status from Control Panel and from within the search tools menu within Outlook - both always say that “indexing is complete” or “there are zero items still needing to be indexed”, so it seems to be maintaining the index as up-to-date. Often I will give it a simple search (like the one above) and it will return a partial response and get stuck on “searching” (with the moving dots) and never stop searching or complete its answer.
This is NOT a case of not having all of the sources selected to be searched (and indexed). The search options includes a directive to search the Deleted Items folders. It was working perfectly before the Creator’s Update, and I verified that my list of “Locations to Search” has not been changed without my knowledge/consent and all the PSTs are still checked. I have deleted and rebuilt my index twice. Automatic updates are still turned on. I manually ran Office Update; various things were downloaded and installed but search still does not work properly. I do not use Outlook webmail AT ALL. I use POP/SMTP accounts. My Office 2013 version number is 15.0.4937.1000, my windows version is 10.0.15063 Build 15063. I ran SCANPST on every PST file, most had a handful of errors and were repaired without fanfare. The windows search troubleshooter’s most impressive accomplishment is to ask to be run with administrator privilege and then it finds ... nothing. I am the only user of my machine, everything is done from“my” administrator account. SFC /scannow found “no violations”.
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth returned “The component store is repairable”.
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth returned “The restore operation completed successfully”.
Search is VERY important to my work; accurate/reliable results are absolutely necessary.
For full disclosure, other things I’ve done since the Creator’s Update that “should” not have affected this:
1) Permanently disabled OneDrive (again - why Microsoft turned it back on escapes me).
2) Permanently disabled Windows Defender (I always run only Norton, which was running just fine before the Creators Update and I didn’t change anything with Norton -- why Microsoft turned Defender on escapes me).

Help! Word keeps freezing on my Mac!

I have tried all of the solutions offered here without success :(. On my iMac I'm running OS X Yosemite v10.10.5. I ran some MS Office updates two days ago and Excel , Powerpoint and Outlook all open without any problems. When I try to open Word it opens to the first window (with the various templates) and freezes.
I have found that I can bypass the problem by double-clicking an existing Word file, closing that file when it opens and then creating a new file in the usual way (File / New, and Command/N both work).

Problemas al iniciar windows
Hola, tengo problemas al iniciar en mi pc con Windows 10.
Hace poco restauré mi pc desde cero, colocando la opción de eliminar todos mis archivos, pero cuando lo volví a utilizar, y descargué las aplicaciones correspondientes (Chrome, antivirus y office) salía el error de iniciar el equipo, no me dejaba ni siquiera entrar en modo seguro para poder solucionar los problemas, y en ese tiempo no tenía ninguna copia de restauración de imagen, ni nada que me pudiese ayudar.
Volví a restaurarlo de cero, y me logró funcionar, hice una copia de seguridad, no obstante, al volver instalar el antivirus, me produjo el mismo error de inicio. Como tenía una copia de seguridad, puedo volver a iniciarlo desde allí.
Al buscar problemas en el panel de control de Windows update me aparecía lo de la imagen, que no se ha encontrado, pero hay problemas. Ya no sé qué hacer, cada vez que lo reinicio me aparece el mismo error y tengo que volver a iniciarlo de cero.
Mi equipo es HP Split 13 x2 PC.

W10 Pro update from 06/13/2017
This last Tuesday(06/13/2017), a somewhat large update for my W10 Pro system was posted.
Of course, as usual, I applied this update soon after I saw it available.
Now, in the performance of some of my weekend administrative duties(just cleanup, optimize, full image backup, etc.), it appears
that these two issues have appeared:
1. Apparently, new directories(those created after the 06/13 service, seem to be unable to retain their view characteristic. IOW,
I create a new directory, set its view to detail, and the work with the directory. Later, I return to the directory, but the view is no
longer detail, and has switched to a default of medium icons(I believe). Every time I choose to access this directory, I must set
the view characteristic repeatedly to detail.
2. Printing a document from a web access, fails to print the entire document. Actually, from my testing, only the first line of the
document is printed. Explanation - I use this print facility repeatedly to save copies of information during a weekend administration
process. Actually, the print which I'm referring, is really print to pdf. I began to notice my printed information was only showing the
first line. I experimented further, and error repeat is constant. So then I just began testing the print preview, to avoid all the extra
specifications needed for print to pdf. Print preview fails as well. I can say that I was able to print to pdf correctly 1 item. But,
none of the other remaining items will complete correctly. Note that this print to pdf requirement is normally done using IE, because
my normal Firefox has never been able to successfully perform the print to pdf correctly.
