This is a follow-up to my > jan 1st 2017 thread < in which I received helpful advice from Robert Aldwinckle on forums and
Here's my latest 'About IE11'
On page 25 of the >current Performance Problems thread< concerning some issues only in IE11 and not other browsers (& vice versa) Rohn007 posted"IE worked for a while, now IE 11.1198.14393.0 has the same problem".
This made me wonder whether my problems were IE11-related rather than a Performance Problem, as my version is different.
May I ask two very simple questions please in case I have lost the plot?
1. Does every Win10 user have the same version of IE11 regardless of what WIn10 product he/she has?
2. My version clearly is 11.332.15063.0 but what does "Update version 11.0.42 (KB4018271)" mean i.e. is there a later version available?
I searched for KB4018271 and >found< it was a Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer: May 9, 2017.
Here are my recent WUs per Settings and KB4018271 isn't mentioned:
I followed all the links and as happened in January I either got an Empty Screen or no mention in the Catalog.
I'd appreciate help again as I must be missing something obvious - thanks in anticipation.
PS The good news for me is that during my digging today I found another WU that I needed - at the top of the list.
