I'm trying to connect a second monitor to my computer. I have one monitor connected via the VGA plug and am trying to use an HDMI cord for the second monitor. Everything starts up normal until it comes to the login screen, then my first monitor goes black.
Unplugging the HDMI cable does nothing. To regain a picture I have to completely turn the computer off and unplug the HDMI cable, then turn the computer back on.

Shut down problem
Every time i try to turn off my computer it just get turned on again. When I go down to the windows icon at the left down corner of the screen and click on "shut off", it won't turn of. I just end up at the lock-screen again. The same thing happens when
I try sleep-mode. Help??

I have numerous password-protected files in Word 97-2003 format. I know the password. I cannot open these files because Word 2016 will not convert password-protected files from that previous format. What can I do?

950 xl bejövő értesítéskor teljes fagyás, hívásvárakoztatás, Messenger, Viber, Beállítások/Rendszer/Értesítések és műveletek ... csempék, Win10 Skype
Tisztelt Microsoft!
Minden álmom egy ilyen telefon volt és most hogy használom is nem kis kiábrándulások értek :(
1.) Kapok egy értesítést a messengertől (ezt ma éppen aktuálisan láttam, de eddig lehet más jelzett, pl email), hogy üzenetem érkezett. Be van kapcsolva a hangjelzés és a rezgés. Jönne a hangjelzés, de csak töredékét játssza le, majd elindul a rezgés ezerrel, majd szét esik a telefon úgy felpörög és fagy. Semmilyen gombra nem reagál. első alkalommal azt hittem, ok, belefér van ilyen, de ez egy héten belül már a harmadik alkalom és gyorsan hátlap le, akkumulátor kivesz. na akkor megszűnik. Legközelebb hagyom , hogy meddig fogja csinálni, lehet amíg le nem merül az akku? Az így is recsegős hátlap abba megy tönkre, hogy gyorsan le kell feszegetni. ez ma éppen egy tárgyalás közben jött elő. dühömben legszívesebben a falhoz vágtam volna! Valaki tapasztalta már ezt a jelenséget?
2.) Éppen telefonálok. Természetesen hívnak közben. Semmi visszajelzést nem ad a bejövő hívásról, csak a képernyő jelzi, hogy keresnek, de mivel a fülemen nincs szemem, így már csak a nem fogadott bejövő hívást látom, ha éppen észre veszem. Bazira dühítő hiba!
3.) Messenger ... nem aktív a hívás és videóhívás ikon! Ha engem hívnak, akkor nem jelez semmit. Visszajelzés nélküli zárolt képernyő. Majd ha véletlen megnyitom a Messengert jelzi, hogy nem fogadott hívásom volt. Iszonyat bosszantó, mert a fiammal aki Kaliforniában él, ezen keresztül szoktunk beszélni és nem látom amikor keres!
4.) Vibernek nincs magyar appja??? De talán ez lenne a legkisebb hibája a készüléknek.
5.) Beállítások/Rendszer/Értesítések és műveletek menü ... állítanám az egyes alkalmazások visszajelzéseit és ha állítok valamit, ha nem, akkor is szó szerint csiga lassúsággal tér vissza a képernyőhöz. Mintha fagyna, majd egyszer csak elkezdi görgetni a képernyőt amit eddig taperoltam, hogy mi a franc van veled, miért nem működsz. Az hogy lassú az egy gyenge kifejezés, irritálóan bosszantóan lassú! Ha meg valamihez hangot akarok választani, akkor mire eltalálom a kis nyilacskát, hogy halljam is mit akarok választani, van hogy 5-10 szer is rá kell kattintani mire sikerül. Ha véletlen elsőre, akkor ujjongok, mintha nyertem volna a lottón. Kezelhetetlenül kicsi az a terület, vagy nem is tudom, lehet csak **** az egész ahogy van.
6.) Az alapképernyőn csempékbe helyeztem ki partnereket , hogy gyorsan hívhassam őket. Iszonyat idegesítő, bármikor felébresztem, vagy visszatérek az alap képernyőre, (gondolom) frissíti a benne levő tartalmakat, ami azzal jár, hogy vibrálnak (ugrálnak) sorban egymás után a kihelyezett csempékben levő névjegyek. bosszantó jelenség.
7.) Win10 Skype .... azt írja a Microsoft, hogy mindazt tudja mint a régi??? Érdekes. Akkor hol az a lehetőség, ahol be tudom állítani, hogy csak az aktív partnereket mutassa? Olyan van, hogy csak a skype partnerek, de valahogy ez sem jött össze , mert az Outlookal szinkronizált. Ez még nem is lenne baj, ha oldalakon keresztül nem csak vakon telefonszámokat mutatna, amit nem is tudom honnan vett, mert a régi Skype ezt nem mutatja, pedig az is szinkronizálva van. Ez asztali gépen is ugyan ilyen jelenség és nagyon dühítő. A régi Skype sokkal jobban átlátható beállítható és kezelhető. Természetesen a visszajelzés küldése nem működik az új Skypon, de a parnerek alatti ikon a robotok .... na abból van elég, csak minek? Szóval az új Skype nem kicsit gyenge.
Tudom, a Microsoft Magyarországtól ezekre választ nem fogok kapni, mert a válasz abból áll, hogy a telefont nem támogatják és böngésszek a külföldi oldalon, de akkor feltenném pár kérdést.
Minek van itt bejelentési lehetősége akkor a telefonnak?
Egyáltalán minek forgalmaz Magyarországon telefont a Microsoft, ha nem támogatja?
A telefonon hiába írok bármi visszajelzést nem kapok rá választ. Miért is kapnék? Ki foglalkozik egy magyarországi "lúzer" felhasználóval?
Ezek a bosszantó hibák csak egy átlagfelhasználó mindennap használt dolgai. Biztos csak egy töredéke, mert még rengeteg mindent ki se próbáltam, de ha azokkal nem is lenne gond, ennyi a hétköznapi használathoz pont elég, hogy ha javasolnom kéne a típust, akkor ezt jó szívvel ne tegyem meg, még akkor se, ha én elfogult vagyok vele és tetszik a készülék és maga a Win10 is. Lássuk be, ezek olyan hibák, amiken nem lehet túllépni.
Ha valaki mégis elolvasná és netán válaszolna is erre az igen nagyra sikeredett levélre, azt megköszönöm.

ps: kósza hírek alapján lehet, hogy ez az utolsó telefonja a Microsoftnak és tényleg felszámolja a mobiltelefonos üzletágat? Nagy kudarc lenne. Ha viszont folytatni akarja, akkor lehet kicsit igényesebb készülékkel kellene előrukkolni, mert a többi cég erőteljesen fejleszt és lám a NOKIA is visszatér. :)

Windows 7 não reconhece o Intel Management Device. Erro 37.
O windows 7 dá erro 37 aparentemente pq o Intel Management Device não está funcionando (tem um ponto de esclamação), apesar de o sistema informar que está atualizado. O processador é o Intel R Core TM i5 4460 CPU @ 3.20 GHZ de 16/11/2016 Versão 11.6.0.1042.
Quando tento executar o Intel Drive Update Utility o computador não permite, assim como não permite que eu execute nenhum drive baixado. Por vezes informa que o arquivo está corrompido, outras vezes trava. Dentre as linhas do log de erro do Intel Drive Update Utility encontra-se repetidamente: Error 0x800713ec: Failed to execute EXE package. Error 0x800713ec: Failed to configure per-machine EXE package.
Fico muito agradecida a quem puder me **** luz!

"Microsoft Outlook has Stopped Working."
Followed by "Microsoft Outlook is trying to Recover"
Been going on for about 6 months. I got frustrated and removed Outlook 2013 and have been using Outlook.com which is a poor second cousin to the email client. I decided to retry this week and reinstalled Outlook 2013 fresh from its CD. Installs just fine in my Win 10 x64 Lenovo 550s. All programs work excepting Outlook. I reinstalled using another CD (I had bought 2 copies over time) and tried that with the same result or really lack of result. My msn email account works just fine in Outlook.com but not using the email client.
I had even reverted to my Office 2010 for a time and that all works except for Outlook 2010 which has the dreaded Not Able to Synchronize Folders error. So I have 3 retail copies of Microsoft Office that all work excepting Outlook.
Now the second copy of Microsoft Outlook 2013 works just fine with my email on my desktop (which is why I have 2 copies). But no joy on my W550s

Hola, Estoy intentando configurar mi cuenta POP de gmail en el ordenador principal de mi casa, pero no hay manera. Tengo la misma cuenta configurada en IMAP en los ordenadores del trabajo sin problema. ¿me podeis ayudar? He revisado todos los tutoriales

Audio gracchiante di skype
Buonasera!
Ho riscontrato recentemente un problema con Skype. Ho un pc HP con installato Windows 10
QUando apro una chiamata, l'audio si sente metallico e gracchiante. I miei contatti mi sentono bene, ma io non riesco a sentire loro senza questo disturbo.
Basandomi su altri quesiti ho provato quanto segue:
- disinstallare la versione 7.36 di Skype e installare una precedente (ho la 7.31 al momento)
- bloccare gli aggiornamenti automatici di Skype direttamente usando "Esegui", seguendo le istruzioni lasciate in altri post
- aggiornare i driver audio.
Nonostante questi accorgimenti, il problema persiste. Ho effettuato anche un test di chiamata, per sicurezza: la mia voce si sente perfettamente. Eppure, come apro la chiamata, dopo qualche minuto di conversazione limpida, l'audio torna ad essere fortemente disturbato.
Potete aiutarmi a risolvere questo problema?

Здравствуйте, у меня стоит официальная Windows 10 (обновился на нее с официальной Windows 8 которая шла уже установленной в ноутбук, покупал в официальном магазине Sulpak в Казахстане) и я хочу пользоваться Microsoft Word но делать я этого не могу потому-что она ПЛАТНАЯ, мне 16 лет, смысла вкладывать такие деньги в эти приложения не вижу т.к. они должны быть бесплатными! Почему люди которые которые покупали ноутбук или же компьютер в официальных магазинах (не б/у) должны еще платить???

Changing Footer on Master Pages
I need to change my footer from March to June and Page 1 to Page 37 and have that change sequence on the subsequent pages. I have 4 leader pages that do not have a footer. The first page of my booklet is on the right-hand side of the 2-page view and
is and odd number - i.e. 1 or 37. I cannot figure out how to accomplish this. I am working with Publisher 2016 in Windows 7. Can any one help me?

the windows 10 store wont let me purchase any apps due to glitching i cant even report the problem that is how messed up it is also other apps like the weather app and the photo viewing app are not working right either im in the insiders program

CMD Aparece y desaparece
hola buenas tardes comunidad de Microsoft:
quisiera pedirles ayuda, no soy muy bueno con la laptop pero el CMD se abre y cierra de forma rapida tengo instalado el windows 10 y no se como detener este error de mi lap anteriormente tenia problemas con pag de publicidad que eran virus intente de todo hice un escaneo con mi antivirus Avast free tambien con Adwcleaner y luego Malwarebites al parecer elimino virus que segun habian pero continuaba con el problema.... "aun seguia apareciendo por si solas pag de publicidad, me ponia publicidad de pag de adultos en cualquier pag web incluyendo youtube) y luego instale una extension de crome que bloquea la publicidad se llama adguard adblocker antes de instalar esta extension no habia puesto atencion a una extension que al parecer se habia instalado por si sola y le di eliminar para cuando hice esto ya habia descargado adguard adblocker y solo estaba esperando que apareciera en la barra del navegador, se elimino pero al instante aparecio esta extension y adios a mi problema pero no se si fue por obra que elimine la extension maliciosa o por obra del adguard por que comento esto por que despues de unos 14 dias despues..es decir hasta hoy empezo este problema del CMD que aparece y desaparece en milesimas. habia visto un problema similar al mio en este foro pero es para windows 8 y ps mi problema es con windows 10 y no quiero empeorar mas mi equipo quisiera ayuda por favor o asistencia se lo agradeceria mucho
