We had trouble with saving contacts to a public folder. We found that duplicates were getting created.
Each had varying levels of Notes. Some only had the most recent notes, some had the oldest. And some had a mix in between.
Copying them to a new folder is not triggering Outlook's Duplicate Checker for most of them. Even though the Full Name, Job Title, Company, E-mail, and almost all other fields are identical.
So we thought we'd get all the data out to Excel and manipulate the data there. I exported the folder to .PST and added to my local Outlook, and exported that to .CSV.
But a significant number of the contacts are exporting only 259 of their Notes. They all show up in Outlook, both the public folder, and the local PST, with much more than that.
I ran ScanPST.exe on the file. It noted "minor inconsistencies" and I ran through. But that didn't help.
What are your suggestions to fix this?
