This feature has worked perfectly for years. Now it wont work. I have emailed back and forth with support with no solution. They said a patch had been applied and should work now but it still fails. Below is the description.
When emailing to me@, I get the following email response (below). I have tried resetting the email addresses within OneNote.....no change. Before anyone starts asking for what OS I am using and what version of OneNote, let me make that clear. This is not an OS or OneNote version issue. I am using a browser 100% so there should be no issue. Email is coming from Gmail. I ONLY use OneNote via the web interface. There are NO OneNote clients running anywhere. So this problem must be on the Microsoft end as its completely web based. Most solutions that support has posed deal with the local OneNote software client, which has no affect on this problem as I dont use the software client.
Looking around online, it seems that this issue does occur somewhat frequently but I have seen no real solution.
