Hi All,
I'm trying to upgrade all my servers to Powershell 4.0 for DSC. Most have upgraded ok apart from 5 Server 2008 R2 servers that are refusing to install WMF 4.0 or above. The update seems to successfully install, but then reverts the changes after a reboot. Also fails if I try to uninstall WMF 3.0. Most other updates install fine. .Net Framework 4.5 and above is installed on all the servers.
Here's what i've tried so far:
Disabled AV
Updated Windows Update Agent
Windows Update repair
SFC /scannow
Clean boot
Renamed Software Distribution
Installed WMF 5.1 with prerequisites
msiexec /register /unregister
checked system profiles
