I have a client with a Mid-2011 iMac with a 1Tb hard drive. They have noticed some slowdown recently and Outlook has been having issues as well. What I noticed was that the hard drive is nearly full. When trying to identify what might be the culprit Outlook stood out as a space hog with the Outlook Profile15/Data/Message Attachments folder in the Library taking up an enormous 807Gb of disk space.
I tried finding a way to compact the Outlook files but the menu option doesn't seem to exist on the Mac version. How would I best be able to reclaim this space?
