Can't Open File on Word for Mac 2016 OR Word Online

Hi all, 

So this is my problem:

Yesterday I saved a Word document (Word for Mac 2016), by clicking save as then OneDrive, in the online locations section. Today I tried searching for the file on Finder and there was no sign of it, nor could I find it on OneDrive.com. 

I can see the file in recents on Word for Mac 2016 and Word Online. When I try to open it on Word for Mac it says "sorry we couldn't open [URL]", and when I try it on Word Online, it says "this item might not exist or is no longer available."

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
