This rule works (which I've had forever):
If sender address is noreply@***.com then move to <Folder>
However I'm trying to setup a new rule which takes priority when there's "Hire" in the subject line. However only the first rule takes precedence. I've gone ahead and tested it both with the rules in both orders. The Hire rule never applies.
If sender contains: "noreply@***.com" and subject contains: "Hire" then move to Inbox
I'm using Chrome as my primary browser. However after setting up the rules I've confirmed that the rule orders were set and do take place by using IE. As others have stated the rules with no quotes work but it looks like the rules with contains don't work.
I know how to set rules and have already cleared my cookie cache. Please escalate this to the development / qa teams who maintain outlook.com
