I've recently just received an email from supposedly Microsoft account team saying
"We've detected something unusual about a recent sign-in to the Microsoft account *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. To help keep you safe, we've required an extra security challenge"
Also in the email, there's a link that can take me to look at my recent activity. I didn't really trust the email because the email address ba** etc. isn't familiar at all, and you need my Microsoft app which is on my phone to sign in. So I went through the website to check, and all I saw was numerous security challenges (which I unfortunately get all the time, but have accepted since I've got a strong password and my security app, it's the best I'm gonna get with being safe) but no one suspicious has logged in and the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** hasn't logged in either.
Anyone have any ideas whether I should be worried or if the email is a scam?
