Hi:
I updated the Windows version on my Surface Pro 4 in the last week of December 2017. Since around then, my type cover has not been working. I have tried restarting, hard reset, cleaning the connectors on the device and the type cover, ordering a new type cover, and even reinstalling Windows. As mentioned in several other posts, I see only HID keyboard and mouse in the device manager and do not even see any unknown hardware devices for which I can install drivers.
I have not been able to get a proper response from Microsoft over phone or chat and the Register Device option on the Microsoft Support does not seem to work. Hoping someone here will be able to help me resolve the problem (short of buying a new PC or Mac).
