I am having an issue with a client of mine who has an Avaya IP Office 500 V2. They migrated to Office 365 and naturally, voicemail to email stopped working. We informed them this would occur and had
them build their old Exchange Server into an SMTP relay for Office 365. I helped them change the IP Office settings to point all SMTP traffic to the relay but it still doesn't work. I have verified the IP address, port, and email address is used and all are
correct. I verified that the SMTP relay supports anonymous authentication by forging an email through telnet and it was sent and received. I used to monitor it is building up emails in the queue on the IP Office 500 V2 with no specific errors. I have seen
this occur in another system in which the Default route was the issue but I have confirmed this as well. Does anyone have any ideas that I haven't tried or sees something I missed which
office 365 plans are supported? Any help is appreciated!
