With the old sticky notes, I could format text in Word and paste it into a note. With the new version all the formatting disappears, leaving a oversized font and over-wide linespacing. As a result, all my notes are now too big.
Before I could select and right click to copy content from my notes. Now the right click context menu is gone, and instead I get a silly little menu box that appears on a different screen, often hidden behind apps. Did you know that many people use multiple screens these days? Couldn't your programmers at least set the thing up to appear next to the notes?
I tried copying the old sticky notes program from windows.old. My notes appeared with the proper formatting, but right click does not work at all. Also, notes cannot be deleted.
I used sticky notes for copying/pasting things like phone numbers into forms. Microsoft appears to have robbed me of yet another useful functionality.
