My acer laptop running windows 8.1 has near constant problems connecting to wifi. I bought an external wifi adapter and that helps with some but not all. At the moment when I try to connect to my uni wifi it lists the connection as limited. I tried resetting
adapters etc. I don't know the IP address so can't manually set that either. Any ideas?
