malware disabled my surface 2

some malware site blocked my surface 2 so it would not operate until they were contacted. which I did since they alluded to being Microsoft.. After putting me through a series of moves they took over my machine without warning and showed me where my problem was. then they asked me for 200,00 to fix the problem.  I didn't have any money!!! I am 67yrs old and on social sec which is very budgeted!!

They asked me over and over for money and I tried to explain when they became extremely RUDE. I knew that THEY had to be the MALWARE people because Microsoft people would not be as rude as this man was. When I told him to please just return my surface back to its original screen he laughed and said " Oh NOW you want me to work for you without pay?? It is not MY  fault that you screwed up your computer. I said I was going to report them to Microsoft because I had been gathering information on them since we started and hung up the phone.

When I looked at my screen it had a very small block of info stating that my computer required a start up passcode so please enter below with no other buttons or choices but a password entry slot and enter key. Now I have owned this surface bought from a former owner and have never in the three years of ownership used a sign in password!!! I have tried many things to rectify the situation of being totally locked out!!!  I always end up back at a blue screen asking for my password!! I have no doubt it was done by the malware people. Can someone please help me I am old and rely on my computer for many things. HEEEELLLPP
