Hey,
Not entirely sure if this is the result of a software issue or on the hardware side, but I recently own a brand new ASUS x555ya series laptop with Windows 10 for a few months and a recurring issue is the touchpad is extremely sensitive and cumbersome every time I use it. I don't know if it's because it takes time getting used to, but I have a lot of issues with basic functions like moving the cursor without it unintentionally:
Randomly selecting(highlighting) an area of text or web page
Clicking on a thumbnail (Click without warning, in general)
Placing itself within text (For example, as I type my cursor is in an other area of text and most of the time what it will do is randomly begin from this portion, rather than the place I am currently typing in
Dragging thumbnails or other items
Going forward or back on a webpage
So, in a nutshell, I think the biggest issue that encompasses most of these issues is the fact my touchpad is unintentionally clicking things I don't want it to click and it's causing a lot of problems with every day use of the laptop. Any remedies for the cause will be greatly appreciated.
