Office 2016 Document Information Panel issue for SharePoint libary content type

Hi there,

We are facing an issue while editing an exiting SharePoint document with client application (Office 2016).

Scenario:

We have a document library with 12 content types. Once we create a document under any of content type (e.g.TestContentType) and save it within browser it saves as shown below.

Now we edit document using client application (Office 2016) as shown below

We able to see all properties (metadata) except Lookup, Choice field (Checkboxes - allow multiple selections). So we click on "Show Details" as shown below

Now first issue is: It shows Document as content type rather thanTestContentType as show below

Now second issue is: Even if we change it to our previously selected content type (e.g.TestContentType) it does not maintain all previously selected metadata as shown below

Please help us to resolve this issue or let us know whats change in Office 2016 with SharePoint 2016.
