A refurbished Win7 Pro machine has all updates stopped at August 2015. Win Updates says machine has all latest updates. But no further updates can be received or added.
Same for Windows Defender which shows the message (along the start line at the bottom) to get it updated.
Something has frozen the receipt or checking for updates and I have tried many things without success.
The internet is full of folks with the same problem.
Is there ANY solution which works?
