disc recovery after formatting

i have windows 10 , i have formatted local disc E by mistake then i used a program called (unformat) to get it back but unfortunately many folders have been lost , is there any solution to get the disc back before last format ( i didn't make a restore point to it ) ??
finally i advise microsoft to distinguish between shape of local disc and external hard or flash memory  on this PC because i formatted disc E instead of formatting a flash memory .  Thank you
