My windows 7 connects to the internet by my phone's mobile hotspot. I wanted to save GBs with my internet provider so I created another connection with "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport". Both of these show as connected in my wireless network connections. Is it possible to have wifi connection through the wifi miniport without using my phone? If not, then with both connections showing internet access, is that saving on GB's? Please advise.
