Can anybody point me to a PC native software which I can use to backup and restore device data (contacts etc)
I keep seeing "Hard Reset" and "Windows Device Recovery re-format" as possible solutions to the issue's that I am experiencing. Both result in data loss. The options in the Back up to One Drive on the phone are way too general for me to see what is being backed up. Also, there has only ever been only one backup visible to me when I visit OneDrive. (the latest which is ironically today 01/11/2016 at 04.00)
Presumably the purpose of performing the Hard Reset and/or Re-Format would be to clear any possible software conflicts? What is the point in doing that if I have to restore an image which may include that corruption?
A simple software that allows filtered options (contacts, messages etc) and which allows those back ups to be names and/or dated is surely easy enough. After all, I can have multiple restore points on my Windows PC. (and can filter what is saved and restored.)
So, has anybody seen one?
