I recently upgraded to Windows 10 this past week. I tried installing Office 365 2013 provided from my school using an installer downloaded from Outlook. It runs but gets stuck around different percentages, mainly 53%. After this happens, my computer basically becomes unusable, to the point where I can't even shut it off from the start menu. I can move the mouse but nothing responds. I've also let the installer run for a couple hours even after it gets stuck but nothing happens and my computer is still unusable. I've tried also tried installing using a clean boot but I get the same results. To uninstall I use O15CTRRemove provided by Microsoft to remove Office. I want to add that I've tried installing Office 2016 from *cough* online sources but I still get the same results as before. Office 365 2013 worked before when I had Windows 8 and 8.1 and this is a pretty fresh Windows 10 installation so I'm quite lost as to why the install keeps getting stuck.
My computer is all updated. No third party antivirus, I use Windows Defender.
