New Dell Computer Loaded with Office, but no numbers on the packing slip have 25 digits -- where is the activation code?

We paid for Office for Home but we get a Catch 32 when trying to activate the suite.  There is no sequence on the packing code that fits the 25 digit requirement to activate.
