Good morning,
Yestrday I decided to work on my long train journey. I created a new Word doc on my Android tablet and immediatelly saved it on OneDrive (or I thought I had, using the train wifi connection...) typed away and got most of this important text done, and regularly pressed the save button just in case (I don't always trust the autosave).
Arrived at my destination, had other things to do. Hours laters I boarded the train to my return journey and decided to work on the text again. It opened fine and I carried one my work. All of a sudden, while I was typing on word, the screen blinked and word restarted. It offered me thatnopening screen with templates for new documents. Fortunatrly I could see the document I was working on the 'recent documents' list at the left hand column. Clicked on it, but kept getting the message ' you need an internet connection in order to open this file' (or smth like that). The thing is, I had a connection - managed to open a few webpages and was even receiving email msgs in the meantime. I could open other documents that were equally stored on OneDrive, but not this one. Waited to get home, but now the msg I get is that the document has been deleted or moved. Damm!!! I can only assume that the **** wconnection offered by the train company got cut right when word was doing one of its 'autosave', and the documeny got somehow stuck in limbo/purgatory/void...
Any idea if this is salvageable at all, please? Any help would be much appreciated indeed!!!!
