Before the automatic switch to Outlook from Hotmail, I could just click on the "Delete" Key on my keyboard. Now I must move my cursor over the "Delete" Icon on the screen and click on Delete. How can I delete the email I am looking at just using my keyboard.
Also, CTRL + SHIFT + V does not allow me to move an email to a folder like I could before...what can I do now to move it(using the keyboard only)?

A tooltip is stuck on the desktop and will not go away.
On my desktop there is rectangular shadow from a tooltip.
It does not go away.
It does not move.
Searching the internet seems to show that the only solution is to re-start the computer, and that Microsoft do not know a better way to fix this problem.
I do not want to have to close everything I am working on and re-start the computer just to regain full and proper use of a small region of the screen.
In my opinion, Microsoft are poor at providing support for this kind of problem.
If a Microsoft employee answers my post, the reply will be irrelevant, e.g. run system file checker, or scan for viruses, etcetera.
It is not a virus - it is a little bug in Windows7 itself.
I have suddenly found that MS Word 2016 will not print headers and footers.
This is not an issue of text falling outside of the print area. To test, I increased the bottom margin to 2" and set the footer 1.5" from the edge - and still the footer does not show up in print preview and does not print.
Any suggestions?

Раньше на ноутбуке стоял Windows 7 - на протяжении 4-х лет всё было отлично.
Купил лицензионный Win10. Установил на свой Z570, ещё сидел ухмылялся, как лихо он подтянул все драйверы.
да оказалось не все.
Драйвер WiFi модуля установился, но модуль не включается. Ни через горячие клавиши, ни через разного рода манипуляции.
Скачивал и устанавливал большое количество всевозможных драйверов, для различных систем, хотел простым перебором найти подходящий, но так и не нашёл.
Прошу помощи!
P.S. на сайте Lenovo числится, что поддержка Win10 для моего устройства не производится. Что мне теперь делать? Неужели нельзя было сделать обратную совместимость с прошлыми версиями Windows
Windows XP is no longer supported, but I have a laptop (sony vaio s480) that can not work with windows 7 or 10 (no drivers).
So I would like to keep XP and install office 2016.
The office setup refuses to install it. It checks the version of the windows and says its intended for newer version of windows.
And I was wondering if there is workaround to make it think it is different version of windows like 7 or 10?
Or maybe some virtual machine ?
After updated to creator update using the media creation tool. The windows update no longer works, always failed with 0x80070057. Tried use troubleshoot to fix it, problem remains. Try download any app from windows store, failed with the same 0x80070057 error instantly.
Try format the hdd then do a fresh install of creator update, big problem straightaway. Windows activation no longer works, failed with the same error of 0x80070057, win update and store same problem.
Hardware is stock standard Intel NUC 5i5RYH with WiFi and Ethernet. Only Ethernet is connected, IE/Edge works fine. Wifi driver is loaded but not connect to any access point. Try disable everything in Proxy setting, same problem. Tried disable firewall completely, same problem.
Restore to build 14393 everything works again. I notice at the last leg of installing 14393, the windows installer ask for which network to use (in Creator update it never asked).
EDIT: 20/04/2017. As reported, my original issues are resolved by updating the bios to the latest intel NUC bios. However, problem remains on many other users who are with different model of NUC.

and after signing in, there is no desktop visible,
just a black screen and the cursor which seems ineffective
we cannot open a right-click menu.
I am thinking it is trying to use a 2nd monitor - which does NOT exist?
Tried:
Using the windows key +P multiple times - mouse changes to show command but
still no screen.
Plugging VGA cable AND HDMI cable into same monitor - no change.
using windows key to possibly access unseen Metro - no knowing if it opened or not,
was unable to execute any app.
Every thing WAS working before the "Update"
only peripherals connected are wireless USB mouse, wired USB keyboard,
sound jack and external hard drive using USB3 port.

After Windows 10 Creators Update ( upgrade) most of my applications not showing Greek characters.
Event Setups from brand companies not showing Greek Characters
i figure out that the problem is in Ms Sans Serif and MS Serif Font that looks like it don't support-showing Greek characters.
I tried to change the localization, even to create a Font Substitute without any luck.
Most of Greek Developers, or Worldwide programmers use this font for applications .
The impact for this Bug it will be huge and as result it will be downgrade to the earlier 1607 version ( or 14393 Build) .
Please find a solution quickly or many of us will downgrade to Windows 7 ( witch is compatible with all of our applications)
I have Office 2010 license key and Office 365 account. I have installed Office 2010 using the license key and I am trying to setup Outlook for my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** Office 365 license (I have E1 version of Office 365). I do not know which should be the server name when prompted to add the server name while configuring my account. Could you please help?

This method isn't working for me. I've changed out group logo but its not filtering to other aspects of the sharepoint site.
Also, I agree with others its a bit nuts this part of SharePoint was changed.
hi, I am using onenote on several computers (Windows 7 and Mac Os and iphone). I have just moved to Windows 10 on one of my computers. My notes were created on Windows 7 with OneNote 2013 (not sure the date). I cannot sync my notes on the new computer under Windows 10. It is saying for each note "We couldn't open this section" or it doesn't load at all, constant message "loading". But the notes still works well on my imac, Computer with windows 7 and iphone. I have tried to uninstall/re-install onenote on the problematic pc, but I am still getting the same error.
I have contacted the helpdesk, and they suggested procedures that I have tried as well. Still same pb. Any help would be welcome.

Ever since the Creators Update I'm getting a weird stutter all the TT Games Lego games that I own (Star Wars Complete Saga, The Hobbit, Marvel Superheroes, Jurassic World). It's not a frame rate drop, exactly: it mostly runs smoothly, just with momentary freezes every few seconds for long enough to make them all unplayable.
I've completely uninstalled my graphics drivers, both removing them in Settings > Apps, and removing the display adaptor in Device Manager. After reinstalling the most recent version on the AMD web site the issue remains.
I'm not seeing issues in any other game, and everything else I've tested is running as well or better than it was before the Creators Update. We were halfway through Jurassic World with the kids though, so demand to get it fixed is high!
Has anyone had a similar experience, or can anyone make any suggestions?

The entire document shifts to the left; that is, the indicator at the bottom of the document shifts to the right, pushing the left edge of text out of sight beyond the left edge of the document. This happens frequently and unpredictably; it doesn't seem to be connected with any particular command or cursor position.
I responded to an original message referring to Word 2008, but I'm using the latest version for Mac, version 15.2, on an Office 365 subscription.

Having used various drivers and Wireless Adaptors by Realtec and MediaTek, I have observed that the WIFI download performance with Windows 10 Creative Update vs Windows 7 is around 40% slower.
This must be a Microsoft defect as several different adaptors are showing the same issue and so its likely to be a CORE Windows 10 file that has a fault.
The issue is seen when you have a download Network Speed of 50Mpbs. In this case your download speed with Windows 10 appears to be no more than 28Mpbs with WIFI whereas with Windows 7 its 50Mpbs. When you have a download speed of 30Mpbs you get at least 22Mpbs with the WIFI Adaptors, suggesting that the code has a throughput limit
Safe mode and clean build have shown the same issue! Its not related to the WiFi router as I have tested against three different companies products!
Maybe Microsoft will read this posting and take a look at the issue - however I sincerely doubt it

Here's the issue
- I always played the witcher 3 in fullscreen with night light enabled and working.- yesterday, I tried with activating game DVR - tho' w/o success as I had the HDD where it saves locked - and suddenly night light stopped working and i experienced tearing.- I disabled game DVR, restarted, installed new drivers.. The game is no more night light compatible. Same happened to another game.
To use night light I have to borderless fullscreen but in games like the witcher I prefer full performance.
How can I restore everything back?

My Xbox one just randomly started doing this. When I insert a game, it doesn't even recognize that there is anything in the drive, but it spins and everything. When I put a cd in, it works and lets me play it. What is the deal here? Also, it will let me eject a cd, but when I put a game in and hit eject, it won't eject without me unplugging and plugging back in the power cord. I love my Xbox and am so upset about this!!
