It would be nice if Microsoft would fix this. I have seen this happen on a number of PCs that I administer for businesses. Also, not sure where the images the Microsoft support is using came from, it does not match my Office 365 OneDrive Business Premium, so if this is from an enterprise product, then please so state in your responses.

For troubleshooting, I did the following:

Uninstall OneDrive for Business
Re-Install from the Windows 10 store OneDrive

This sync process seems to be overly complicated and contains many trash dialog boxes that continue to show up when users attempt to do a simple sync. All users are within the same domain by the way and all are managed.

So now that I have everything lined up, as a user, this is my experience.

The sync worked one time. The next time a box, which I can't seem to capture opens that says that a different version of OneDrive is required to run "ODopen", not sure, but can't seem to get it to reappear. I then clicked on the link provided to install OneDrive, yet again. Now things seem to work, except for the annoying dialog box that keeps popping up that keeps telling me to reinstall OneDrive

Seriously when I use Google, I don't get all of these trash dialog boxes. And I say that because...I get another dialog box on top of all of these, with Windows 10 asking me again if I want to open Onedrive on my system. I get it that this for security reasons, but how come other companies don't seem to require all of this noise?

I have been set up as a delegate for my boss in both Outlook and Skype. Unfortunately, every time I try to create a Skype meeting from his calendar I get the following error message:

My IT group doesn't seem to know how to fix this problem. The have had me do a "Quick Repair" and that has not helped.

I have got to get this problem fixed asasp!

Hallo zusammen

ich bin ziemlich ratlos zu oben genannten Sachverhalt. Hatte eine sehr lange Zeit Linux Mint als mein Haupt OS (kein Dual Boot, da kein Windows installiert). Nach langem hin und her habe ich mich entschieden Linux komplett platt zu machen und mir Windows zu installieren.

Gesagt getan; Leider war die Neuinstallation aufgrund der Grub loaders sehr mühsam bzw stark problembehaftet. War eine neue Materie für mich. Alles funktionierte dann doch bis auf die Erkennung meiner GPU (AMD RX470). Angezeigt wird mir lediglich die Onboard Intel HD Graphics.

Ich dachte es liegt an den noch fehlenden Updates für Windows. Diese führte ich dann durch und es war tatsächlich ein Paket aufgeführt mit Display Treiber aber nur für Intel HD Graphics. Irgendwie reagierte meine Grafikkarte dennoch und ich dachte mit Neutstart kann ich die AMD Treiber installieren - Fehlanzeige.

Mein Motherboard (Asrock B150M-ITX) registiert förmlich nicht mal die GPU. :-( *grrr* ... die Treiber des Motherboards werden auch nicht erkannt und ich werde immer wieder verwiesen, dass die Versionen nicht kompatibel sind.

Gibt es eine Windowsseitige Lösung evtl. Motherboard Treiber zu finden bzw zu aktualisieren, oder bin ich hier komplett falsch?

Gibt es unter Umständen eine andere Lösung das Motherboard wiederzubeleben, oder zu testen ob es überhaupt noch richtig funktioniert? Ich bin mir auch unsicher - nicht das ein alter Linux Datenrest dazu führt, dass alles nicht meht geht *help*

Hi,

I'm not familiar with OneDrive share infrastructure and didn't find a similar question, so here it goes:

Our translation agency has internal and external translators.

Internal translators work within our domain, which is synced with an Office365 Exchange plan (Office 2016 Standard installed on all clients within the domain).

External translators get their files through their personal email.

The projectmanagement team found it necessary to share terminology databases (that our internal team uses) with the external translators. I figured that enabling two OneDrive accounts, one for internal (admin privileges) and one for external (read-only, allow download, no upload), would be a smart choice, as all our computers within the domain have OneDrive as part of their Office 2016 and everyone with Windows 10 has access to OneDrive. I could then share just the folder our internal people use as the share for OneDrive.

Question #1: is this an efficient model? Maybe there's a better way to do this?

Question #2: If this model is viable, will I be able to manage the share permissions just so that the external translators may only read and download the files, but not replace/delete/write/rename them?

El icono de OneDrive, junto a otros más, ha desaparecido de la zona de notificaciones de la barra de tareas, a pesar de haberlo seleccionado en Configuración para que aparezca. ¿Cómo puedo restablecerlo?

My installed updates window shows that the April 2017 Security and Quality rollup for .NET Framework for windows 7 was cancelled. Probably my fault for shutting it down after hours of waiting for it to install. My question: Does this matter? All other recent important updates are installed. And second, if it is still important, how to get it to install now? It no longer displays among the available updates.

Hallo,

wenn ich mir jetzt mit dem media creation tool ein windows 8.1 iso runterlade, sind in dieser dann die updates der letzten jahre bis zum letzten monat enthalten oder ist dieses die build 9600 vanilla sozusagen?

noch ne kleine nebenfrage: kommt es euch auch so vor, dass durch die updates das betriebsystem langsamer wird? 2014 war die bootzeit nichtmal die hälfte von dem der gepatchten versionen von 2015 oder 2016. (system komplet neu aufgesetzt, keine rückstände)

my samsung s6 has turned off and wont turn back on again -some kind of battery issue. Anyhoo, i logged into my one note account on my replacement phone and its blank? i press 'sync all' on my one note account all the time in case of such an issue but nothing has synced? there were just a couple of template lists there that are default examples i presume on the new account. its like ive opened a new account ? so i tried opening it on the ipad instead and its the same, then i tried opening on the laptop and still the same couple of template lists but not a single piece of my content.

i think im going to cry !

I need to have a workbook that can be edited by specific people at the same time but is read-only by everyone else. The people with read-only access need to be able to filter as well. How can I achieve this? I have Excel 2013. I have tried the following:

- Restricting access under Info > Protect workbook > restrict access - read-only users cannot filter with this option

- File > Save as > Tools > General options > password to modify - Once I do this the file will not open, it tries to open but gets stuck.

- Protecting worksheets - If this is a shared workbook I cannot unprotect the sheets to allow for editing

Any suggestions?

Im trying to send my homework to Edmodo from Word but I don't seem to have the edmodo app on the share > send a copy button, so I went to go add Edmodo on the > add a place < button but it wasn't working. So when I clicked on the > add a place < button and it had a couple of apps and edmodo was there so I clicked on it and logged in but it said I needed a digital hall pass. It had a button to ask permission for a digital hall pass so I clicked it and it took me to my account on edmodo but nothing happened. I checked on the share > send a copy button on my word document but edmodo wasn't there. Please help me I really need to do my homework

One Note inserted Excell file

I inserted an excel spreadsheet into my one note notebook section and have been editing it for about 5 months. Suddenly, the excel file is not there any more, and I am not able to edit it. I can still see the preview of the file but cannot access the file itself.

I cannot find the file saved on my computer anywhere, which seems impossible that the excel file would only be saving within the one note section. Where is my file?

I've been able to find some versions of it but not the most recent, even though I save the excel file every time I close it. I have searched my entire PC. I refuse to believe that Microsoft would not save this file somewhere else.

This one seems weird -

Column L needs a date from row AE7:AO7. (Each cell in the row have a different date)

I need to populate column L with the date in the above row IF there is a value in the cell that corresponds to the L Row and date in its respective Column.

In example:

L19 = AE7 because AE19 has a value and is not null

L20 = AF7 because AF20 has a value and is not null

L21 = AG7 because AG21 has a value and is not null

I don't think the lookup methods work because it's using an entire row as a value reference based on a separate array. Thanks, and I could not find a version of this that works in the discussion. If it has already been answered please let me know and I apologize.
