Message: We can't install some updates because other updates are in progress. Restarting your computer may help, and we'll keep trying to update.
Watching Update status, the message Preparing to Install shows, then the message Downloading, then it goes back to preparing to install and keeps repeating this sequence.
I have twice used the trouble shooter, each time it found problems that it said it had resolved. Each time, I let it delete the download and make a new download. The same problem occurred after each new download.
I have tried a clean boot. I have tried turning off my McAffee firewall. The option to get updates from more than one place is turned off

This machine is a Dell Desktop 64-bit purchased new a few months ago with Win10 already installed
Earlier I had a problem on my laptop, but after turning off the "more than one place" option, this updated successfully.
