I ordered a song from the store. It now says that I "own" it. I find that the song isn't syncing across my devices (pressed sync, signed in signed out, I did EVERYTHING) so I checked the store on a different device. Whoop dee doo. It says I "own" it but it's only giving me the thirty free seconds of the song. I've lost my trust in Microsoft's Groove and I warn others to be careful when they make a purchase. Who knows, maybe MS will say your purchase went through, but not actually give it to you.

I have been using Office 365 for 2 years and all of this time my file info stays as Author "add an author" and Last Modified by "Not saved yet".

I have added an author, and saved files to my hard drive, to SharePoint to OneDrive.... and nothing ever sticks.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Hello,

I have this very strange error, due to which windows defender cannot be started ( both on boot and if I click the icon manually).
The error is:

I tried everything suggested on this post:

Como puedo volver a activar mi cuenta office, ya que caduco, y pues quisiera volver a activarla sin que tenga que comprar, ya que soy meno de edad y no entiendo ese tipo de cosas y mis padres no me pueden ayudar :/

Back with the March update Outlook would no longer launch if using a POP3 account with a pst. It was fixed in Version 1703 (Build 7967.2161). One of our computers just updated to Version 1704 (Build 8067.2115) and once again Outlook won't launch. I reverted back to Version 1703 and all is well. There needs to be a better method for testing these updates prior to release!

So, I guess I should just tell my story first then, y'all can decide and make your opinions..

I was downloading this audio amplifier software in April 24, 2017. In the installation of the software, I was told to Accept an ads offer. I declined it, but it still downloaded some malware, and extra software that aren't necessarily harmful to my PC, but are of no use to me. So, of course I uninstalled it. But, there is this svcvmx client (32 bit) program running as my background process. I have been searching for a way to remove this virus and/or malware and I none of the methods really work.. Previously, way before April 24, 2017, I had downloaded another software that downloaded some Russian Google Chrome extensions' (pop up ads, adult-games ads). I had successfully deleted 2 of these forever, but one is still in my PC somewhere..

BUT, that is not the main problem at the moment. I want to Reset my computer. So, I went toRecovery -> Reset this PC in Windows settings. I click onGet Started nothing happens. I have seen other discussions about cursor having blue circle then nothing happening after that, but for me, that doesn't even happen. So, I triedAdvanced Startup , but my computer just restarts normally. I mean at this point, I was starting to believe whatever I had downloaded is a virus of some sort.. Oh, and I also tried the holding Shift while pressing Restart like you would normally from Start Menu, and from the Lock Screen, but same result..

So, now that you read all that. I want to know either how to remove this malware/virus and how to fix this error on Resetting the PC. And if some genius out there would explain, what exactly an malware does to a computer, like does it just pop up some ads, or actually take your private information. And I don't wanna lose my PC. :p

Here are some information of my PC if its needed:

• Windows 10 Home
• Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00GHz
• Installed Memory (RAM): 16.00 GB
• System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
• Pen and Touch: No Pen or Touch Input

Also I am signed in through my Microsoft account.

Sad story here. I had to replace the motherboard in one of my machines. I was able to get the same model of MB so I wouldn't have to re-install everything.

After installation I attempted to restore from an Acronis backup. None of the existing backups would start the computer after rebooting (usually saying NTLDR can't be found).

So I gave up and reinstalled everything. I started with my Version of Windows 7 Home.

Went through the activation process with no problem.

I then ran the Windows 10 Home upgrade that I had used before. The upgrade went fine right up until the time I tried to activate it.

I went through the procedures that had been posted by MicroSoft for that issue but none of them helped.

I shouldn't have to buy a new version of Windows just to restore my machine to usability.

 

Any suggestions on what I should try next? <Keep it clean and related>

Hallo!

Ich habe seit ein paar Tagen den Insider Preview Build 16199 auf meinem Test PC und auf meinem Surface Pro 3, aber auf beiden ist das Feedback-Hub nicht erreichbar. Ich habe jetzt Start AppvClient Feedback-Hub, in Power Shell eingegeben, aber ich sehe nur einen sich drehenden Kreis. Ansonsten ist das Feedback nicht erreichbar. Ich den Namen nicht gefunden und auch den Pfad nicht. Und es wird mir auch angezeigt, dass etwas nicht geklappt hat. Und dass ich meine Verbindung überprüfen soll. Es geht auch nicht, wenn in Power Shell: Start-AppBackgroundTask Feedback-Hub, Start-AppBackgroundTask Feedback, Start-Service Feedbak-Hub, Start-Process Feedback-Hub eingebe. Ich finde den genauen Namen nicht und finde den genauen Pfad nicht. Und in den Diensten finde ich es auch nicht. Und mit Get-Module -ListAvailable finde ich es auch nicht. Start-Process Feedback-Hub | Debug-Process und noch verschiedenes anderes, finde ich es auch nicht. Im Taskmanager habe ich nichts gefunden. Im System auf Fehler überprüfen habe auch nichts gefunden. Und beim Streamen bleibt der Ton hängen, aber das Bild sieht man auf dem Fernseher. Oder habt ihr etwas gefunden?

Fui restaurar meu windows 10 na opção de tirar todos os arquivos de todos os discos. Na reinstalação do windows 10 ele parou em 64% e nao para de reiniciar. O que faço?

When I was using AVG I always had some kind of warnings about virus problems and malware, Since I have taken off AVG and just used Windows Defender I check the history and there is never anything showing, It does show that it's been scanned but I am a concerned that it is not working correctly. Is windows defender that good? 

My software is not seeing the dvd player.

 I put a dvd in the dvd player and get the message insert disc  The dvd spins. I tried downloading VLC media player and changing settings in system/apps/ movie TV. Tried recommended for win 10, VLC amd windows media player. Believe my software is not seeing the dvd player. Would buy the win 10 app, but afraid i would be wasting my money.

Hola, cuando intento conectar mi TV Phillips, si bien me reconoce el TV, cuando doy click en conectar con el dispositivo, a continuación me sale la leyenda no se puede conectar. Revise el fireware del TV y esta actualizado. Antes de la última actualización de Windows 10 podía proyectar sin ningún problema. Desde ya muchas gracias!!!

Tengo un problema con las actualizaciones, desde hace meses que tenía deshabilitadas las actualizaciones de Windows porque me era molesto que consumiera banda ancha mientras yo trabajaba, al actualizar me dio muchos errores y perdí un día entero de trabajo corrigiéndolos, luego de eso la PC es mucho más lenta, además el mayor problema es que las ventanas desaparecen de la barra de herramientas por unos segundo luego abren una por una por encima de la que estoy utilizando, pasa muy seguido, y paraliza la PC completamente, ya ejecuté las "soluciones": escanear por medio del símbolo del sistema y borrar carpetas temporales y el problema persiste, lo peor de todo es que interrumpe constantemente, además cuando ejecuto una aplicación en segundo plano pasa lo mismo por un tiempo más prolongado.

Otra cosa es que Cortana no funciona correctamente, por momentos no interactua correctamente, la aplicación de correo no se sincroniza con mi cuenta principar, Edge es demasiado lento, y en el logo de conexión a red me aparece el ícono de Ethernet en lugar del ícono de WiFi. 

Todos estos errores surgieron luego de la actualización de aniversario.

Meu Windows 10 atualizou recentemente, após a atualização o computador não ligou normalmente mais, em uma das vezes deu tela azul, nenhum diagnóstico resolvia o problema, reiniciar também não, a opçao de continuar com Windows não funcionava. A saída foi restaurar o sistema mantendo os arquivos pessoais. Após a restauração o computador funciona mas não muito bem, os aplicativos originais como calculadora e paint nao abrem, e as redes wifi nao estão sendo exibidas, so conecta automaticamente uma que ja estava pre definida. Peço solução urgente, esta funcionando muito mal, nem a barra de pesquisa do "Inciar" funciona, tudo só carrega, carrega e nada. Não consegui tirar print.

Formatei meu computador recentemente e agora tentei reinstalar o Photoshop porém na Adobe Creative Cloud aparece uma mensagem de erro (as atualizações do Windows fornecidas pela Microsoft e necessárias para instalar esse produto não estão disponíveis no computador). Daí percebi que é o Windows Service Pack 1 que não está instalado. Ao tentar instalar através do Windows Update, novamente dá erro (o Windows Update não pode procurar atualizações no momento porque o serviço não está em execução. Talvez seja necessário reiniciar o computador." Já reiniciei e já fui no services.msc e coloquei no automático. A versão é Windows 7 32 bits.
