No puedo iniciar sesión con cuenta microsoft
Pues lo dicho, a raíz de una serie de problemas (no puedo restaurar el sistema operativo, no puedo iniciar sesión en la aplicación de correo, no puedo iniciar sesión en la tienda, no puedo cambiar configuración de cuentas de correo, no puedo sincronizar windows con cuenta de microsoft... Probé a cambiar el inicio mediante cuenta local, al ver que no se solucionaron mis problemas intenté volver a iniciar sesión con cuenta microsoft. La opción aparece, pero al pinchar no pasa nada.
Decir que hace unos días tuve otro problema, y es que windows no me dejaba iniciar sesión con mi cuenta microsoft y, por lo tanto, me obligaba a iniciar el sistema como invitado. Después de la siguiente solución conseguí iniciar windows con mi cuenta de usuario, pero con los problemas anteriormente indicados.

Al introducir en la consola el comando sfc /scannow me aparece el siguiente problema: "protección de recursos de Windows encontró archivos dañados y no consiguió reparar algunos de ellos. Para obtener más detalles, consulte CBS.log

I have written a formula that works out if something is greater than x then multiply by the answer but I need the answer to be rounded up. Do I just put ROUNDUP in front of the IF command?

Using Rules for Sent Items (Outlook) with Mail Merge (Word)
Hi,
I have a mail merge set up that sends emails through Microsoft Word. I can see these sent items after I have performed the mail merge in the Sent Items folder of my Outlook 2016.
I have a rule set up that moves any sent items from this account to another folder. When I manually send an item, this rule works.
When I use the mail merge to send items, the rule to move a copy to another folder does not work. I can still see it in my Sent Items, but it is not moved to the other folder.
Any ideas?

Surface pro 3: Update KB4019215 kann nicht angewendet werden

folgendes Problem:
Surface pro 3 Wind 8.1 pro:
Das Update "2017-05 – Monatliches Sicherheitsqualitätsrollup für Windows 8.1 für x64-basierte Systeme (KB4019215)" lässt sich nicht installieren.
Der Ablauf ist folgender:
Update-Suche (Systemsteuerung -> Windows Update) -> Update wird gefunden -> ausgewählt und auf installieren -> Neustart erforderlich -> Surface startet neu -> Anzeige (sinngemäß) "Update wird verarbeitet..." , geht nur bis 29%, dann wieder Neustart, wieder bis 29% und wieder Neustart -> Meldung (sinngemäß) "Update konnte nicht verabreitet werden. Änderungen werden rückgängig gemacht..."
Im Update-Verlauf wird mir die erfolgreiche Installation des besagten Updates angezeigt, nachdem ich es bereits mehrmals versucht habe, wird mir auch die erfolgreiche Installation mehrmals angezeigt. Unter installierte Updates wird es mir nicht angezeigt.
Auch die manuelle Installation mittels msu-file ergibt den selben Fehler.
Auf dem Surface läuft bitdefender total security und malwarebytes antimalware.

Failed mailbox migrations: exceeded the maximum number of corrupt or missing items
I've got a customer who is trying to move mailboxes. The bad item limit is set to 100, large item limit is set to 10. All the mailboxes are under 1GB (well under), so this has been sufficient for nearly all their moves. The issue we're running in to is this error:
Error: This mailbox exceeded the maximum number of corrupt or missing items that were specified for this request.
The problem is that there has been only 1 skipped item and in PowerShell, looking at the statistics for the move request, there are was only the 1 bad item, and 0 large items. So I don't understand the error. What setting am I missing? or what is going on with these moves? I mean, the customer has since removed the move request (because we've tried the move several times) and has resorted to exporting the email to PST, disabling the mailbox, creating the mailbox on a different server and is now trying the move with an essentially empty mailbox. We should not have to resort to such measures for a mailbox migration.

MS Outlook email: :ACTIVATE" notice. PROBLEM.
My Outlook email (on Internet Explorer page states "most of features are disabled in Outlook until activated". HOWEVER clicking "ACTIVATE" opens a page asking for licence key, or
optionally "sign with MS account".
PROBLEM is login not accepted. Same with using my phone number.
Is MS trying to force me to buy Office? --(I had free Office for years on another pc.

sharing a calendar via android app
hi,
my office is trying to start using the outlook app on android, and we have a problem - no one seem to be able to share calendars via their phone.... this is very important because not everyone has access to PCs and many are working outdoor.
is there a way to share calendars with the phone app? or do i have to use the PC?

Does a boot failure leave a record?
I've been having intermittent failures to boot for about the past two weeks. I'm running Win 10, Anniversary Update. This morning when I powered up, after POST it gave me a windows logo with the words "Preparing Automatic Repair" and rotating dots, after a few minutes the words changed to "Diagnosing Your PC" with rotating dots after a few minutes I got a "Restart" button which I hit and my computer booted into Windows (slowly but otherwise normally). This comes after approximately 10 failed boot attempts yesterday (I'm not even sure why I tried it again today). Yesterday I was convinced it had finally died. So now that I've got it running, is there anywhere that the failed boots, or today's Diagnosis and Automatic Repair, left clues for me as to what's going on? If anyone can let me know where to look, and what to look for, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I received a Skype call this morning, nothing too unusual except that Skype was not open and logged in.
Does Skype run stealth in the background on Windows 10?
Also this was not a person I know, so I'm sure it was a scam or spam of some kind.

Windows 10 Phone - Downloads + Installs App, Completes, but App Never Shows
I just bought a Windows 8.1 phone and updated it to Windows 10. It is a Lumia 640XL. I really like it, but I'm having ONE big problem: Every time I download an app, it downloads and installs perfectly fine. Then, when I go to find it in my phone, the app
doesn't show up. When I go back to the app store to look at the app, it still says "Install" like I never downloaded it. It's making me sad because all I want to do is download my usual workout app and iHeartRadio; nothing that should be a big issue.

Can't turn on Windows Defender Antivirus
After freshly installing Windows 10 N and doing a few initial restarts to finish all updates, I cannot turn Windows Defender on anymore. After pressing "Turn on now" under Security and Maintenance at Virus protection, I get this message:
Security and Maintenance can't turn on Windows Defender Antivirus. Please try again later.
I tried disabling the "Turn off Windows Defender Antivirus" in policy editor, but that did not solve the problem. I also can't even open the Windows Defender Security Centre and I haven't installed any other antivirus.
