Laptop dropped from Homegroup and I can't re-join.

I have a desktop and a laptop, both with up to date windows 10 installed. The other day I set up a homegroup originating with the desktop and had everything looking like it was set, except for the second drive in the desktop, that I was going to work around. 

Today when I went to transfer a small file, I could not access the laptop from the desktop. It is showing up under the Homegroup tab but says the computer is either asleep or off when I click on it. When I check the laptop it says I'm not connected to any homegroup and when I try to re-join it shows it working for forever then gives me a "There is no longer a homegroup on this computer" message. I also do not have the control panel showing when I right click on start.

Any ideas what to do?

I have run into a problem this morning that I did not have yesterday:

I am no longer able simply to center a selected picture either by Home-clicking center or by <Ctrl><E> and then un-centering what follows by <Backspace> on the next line of blank text. I am able to work around the problem by breaking to a new page and then<Delete> to bring uncentered text back to the same page.

I ran OffCAT, which recommended updating to latest Office 2016 version ... but I thought I had previously set automatic updates.

I now check Update & Security Settings and discover that the last update was at 6:54 this morning, while I was napping. Active hours happen to be set at 3p to 10a atm. Pause Updates is Off in Advanced options (though I had good reason to use that opytion a few days ago; maybe the system became confused?

In any case, I did install the latest version of Office 2016 and that did not fix the problem of centering only selected objects. Maybe a cold boot will solve the problem. I'll try that as soon as this goes out to this Community.

Thanks for aiming this at people who can solve this annoying problem.

Há uns dias atualizei meu windows 10 (para criadores) e após umas hora utilizando ele já atualizado ele simplesmente desligou e quando voltou, iniciou no reparo automático. Fiz de tudo mas a unica solução mesmo foi reparar o pc, ou seja, perdi todos os meu programas. E novamente hoje, após uns dias do reparo ele desligou novamente do nada e tornou a tela do reparo automático, com o mesmo erro SrtTrail.txt, a minha sorte foi que consegui restaura o computador e não perdi muita coisa. 

Como faço para resolver esse problema de vez? Não quero ter que ficar restaurando ou reparando o meu notebook e correndo o risco de perder tudo de novo. E detalhe: após eu ter reparado, toda vez que ligo ou reinicio pede para que eu escolha qual versão do windows 10 eu deseje usar (entre o Windows 10 e o Windows 10 home single language), sendo que nunca havia me pedido antes.

Meu notebook é um Asus X450CA. Obrigada a quem puder me ajudar.

Salve, originariamente avevo Xbox sul pc (acquistato un anno fa con Windows 10); ho dovuto formattare la macchina per virus e malware che mi bloccavano alcune applicazioni; ho reinstallato Windows 10 ma di Xbox nessuna traccia. Sto cercando di scaricare l'app ma non me la fa scaricare (apre una finestra che "dice": Avrai bisogno di una nuova app per aprire questo ms-windows-store). Come fare? Grazie.

Dzień dobry.

Mam zamiar kupić laptop, który występuje tylko w wersji z systemem Windows 10 Home. Ja zdecydowanie potrzebuję edycji Pro, więc chciałbym dokupić upgrade. Tylko że na stronie produktu w Microsoft Store jest tylko jakiś marketingowy bełkot bez jakichkolwiek szczegółów na temat uaktualnienia. W związku z tym mam kilka pytań do społeczności.

1) Otóż na laptopie najprawdopodobniej będzie zainstalowana wersja OEM. W Microsoft Store dostępny jest tylko jeden produkt Windows 10 Pro, bez rozróżnienia na BOX i OEM. Przy takiej cenie (ponad 1100 zł) i braku informacji o jakiejkolwiek zniżce na upgrade z niższej edycji zakładam, że chodzi tutaj o pełną licencję BOX. Tylko jaką licencję dostanę po upgrade, skoro obecna licencja to OEM? Będę miał Windows 10 Pro BOX, który w każdej chwili będę mógł przenieść na inny komputer, czy Windows 10 pro OEM?

안녕하세요!!

PC 최적화를 위해 이것저것 해보다가 서비스 - Windows Search 항목을 시작유형은 사용안함으로 하고, SSD HDD 속성에서 색인허용을 해제했습니다.

다시 원래상태로 복원할려고 하니 서비스 - Windows Search 의 초기설정이 기억이 안나고, 로컬 디스크 속성의 색인허용을 체크한뒤에 확인을 하니 C:\swapfile.sys 부터 시작해서 여러항목이 액세스 안된다고 뜹니다. 무시하거나 취소하라고 뜨는데 어떻게 해야하는지 모르겠습니다.

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a Laptop that I can use a pen with; I previously bought the Lenovo Yoga Book (Win) but I had the issue that whenever I went to print off my notes (written with pen in OneNote), the sizing would be awkward and eventually I gave up and returned the product. I was wondering if the Surface Book would work any better or whether it's just worth sticking to pen and paper. I would love to have my notes digitalised but I really need to print them out as well for assignments.

If anyone has tried printing from OneNote on the Surface Book and has been successful please let me know; I won't be buying for a few months yet but I'm starting to look around now. Also if anyone knows of different software that works better for printable notes I would appreciate your input.

Nach Wechsel von win7 auf win10 und auf neuen PC, alle Geräte von Lenovo, klappt die Koppelung der alten Tastatur mit dem PC nicht mehr. Der PC erkennt die Tastatur verlangt aber bei der Koppelung die Eingabe einer "Kennung", die mir aber nicht mehr bekannt ist. Ich weis auch nicht, ob ich damals bei meinem alten PC eine Kennung eingeben musste. Eingabe 0000, 1234, hat auch nicht geholfen. Welche Möglichkeit gibt es noch? Danke für evtl. Hilfe.

I had all my apps on a Microsoft Account.

I then created a Local Account with Admin. All my apps are visible on the desktop.

After logging out of Local and logging into Microsoft Account many of the apps have disappeared.

How can I retrieve my local apps on my Microsoft Account?

It looks like someone signed up for Yammer way back in 2008 and now our domain has no admins. Can I be elevated? I'm a global admin.

Como realizo a transferencia das informações da tabela A abaixo para o quadro B automaticamente, sendo que as informações da coluna Atividade da Tabela A devem vir preenchidas no Quadro B? Caso não haja informação para o dia e horário especificado, preencher automaticamente com a informação "Diversos"  contido na tabela. Уважаемые форумчане. Предлагаю обменяться мнениями на тему: кто главнее, или что первично, а что вторично.

Привожу цитату из общения в чате с техподдержкой: поддержка актуальности устройств, а также создание драйверов для них и его аппаратной части - прерогатива производителя. Это вероятно официальная позиция.

Но в свое время Майкрософт стремился разместить свое ( и с моей т.зр. очень хорошее ) ПО на возможно большем количестве ПК. В моем случае ноутбук был снят с производства, но Майкрософт счел его соответствующим его требованиям и разработал драйвера, и обновил мою Семерку до Десятки. И спасибо ему. Но причем тогда изготовитель? По-моему далее за все должен отвечать разработчик Системы.

И еще факт. AMD предлагает обновить ПО видеоадаптеров, а Диспетчер устройств считает, что "необходимости в обновлении нет". А где Центр обновлений, который обязан обновлять все?

Это тоже подтверждает мою точку зрения.

Возражайте.

How can I get the Window's store to stop recognizing my device as a Microsoft Surface. As it is I cannot download regular PC apps because I believe the surface apps are just starting to be available. My God I don't have a Surface never did never will. I have talked to support tech and lol?

Destek ekibine bu konuyu ekran görüntüsü ve logları ile bildirmeme rağmen endişlenecek bir durum olmadığı gibi basit bir yanıt verildi. Araya vekil sunucu konmasının amacını net olarak öğrenmek istiyorum, kaldı ki bu uygulamayı kullanan milyonlarca insan var ve böyle bir durumun varlığından haberdar olup olmadıklarınıda bilemiyorum.

Ich musste mein Office Home and Buisiness 2013 auf Windows 10 komplett löschen. Beim Versuch, es neu zu installieren stellte ich fest, dass meine Produkt ID nur 16 Zeichen statt der geforderten 20 hat.

Wie komme ich nun zu einer kompletten ID oder ohne diese zu einer Neu-Installierung des gekauften Programms. Das alte war vorinstalliert und ich besitze keine Unterlage dazu.
