Good day!
I am having a problem with my 2010 MS Outlook.
I am encountering an error problem with the message "The operation failed. The messaging interfaces have returned an unknown error. If problem persists, restart outlook.".
I have a customized template on outlook, which have sub-forms once I received it. This template is originally located in the OFL of Outlook, and will be used by my clients to transact.
Currently, this template is running on 2003 version of outlook, very smoothly. No errors at all.
[please be noted that my template forms have been tested for compatibility on 2003, 2007, and 2010.]
Now, I am upgrading the Outlook version to 2010., and every time I test it on 2010 outlook, it will prompt me the error I said earlier.
Please take note of the sample e-mail accounts that I will be discussing on my scenario.
*** Email address is removed for privacy *** - this will be my processor e-mail account, the one that will receive the transaction from my clients.
*** Email address is removed for privacy *** - this will be my personal e-mail account.
Here we go...
abc123 account is the one currently running on 2003 that needs to be upgraded to 2010. It works fine on the 2003 version right now.
I have got a new workstation, with a Windows7 OS, and Outlook 2010.
Every time I use the abc123 on other workstation, it will encounter the error I mentioned earlier. When I open the transaction template, I will review the transaction, then I will click on the "Custom Actions" button to
select a sub-form template. Now, every time I select the template, it will prompt me the error. Even if I restart the outlook several times as mentioned in the error.

To further isolate the problem, I used this account to test my template on the new workstation, and it is working fine. I also even used other personal e-mail accounts of my colleagues and I can still use the templates smoothly. After that, I used my personal
account to test it on other workstations, as well, and I can still use the templates without any problems at all.
Going back to abc123, I used it also on the other workstations, but I still encounter the same error message from outlook.
And that is my problem, I could not proceed in upgrading my outlook and workstation because of this problem.
Can someone please help me on this? I read some same issues about this error, but we all have different scenarios.
Hope to receive an answer as soon as possible.
THANK YOU!
