Broken option in Privacy settings
I am using the new 'skype for windows 10' I suppose it is called. Preferences seem to have moved out of the program and into a web site. When I try to edit my profile on your site and untick the box 'Include me in People Search and Suggestions', it does not save the setting. I tried unticking it and changing other profile information and hitting save in that other area, but the setting doesn't stick. I tried it three times. Other checkboxes seem to work. Is this one broken?

Hallo Herr de Monte,
bei mir ein ähnlich gelagertes Problem, welches wohl ein Bug in der Repair-Funktion als Ursache hat.
Ich habe in 2014 2 Lizenzen für Office Home & Student 2013 erworben. Auf meinem Notebook hatte es die Start-DLL zerschossen gehabt (durch wen und was auch immer). Also unter System - Programme Office ausgewählt und Reparieren angewählt - lief auch bis zum Ende durch.
Nun aber geht nichts mehr und ich muss erst aktivieren. Habe mir mein damaliges Mail-Konto (MSFT wollte wohl meine existierende Mail nicht haben) irgendwie nicht aufgeschrieben und kann es nun nicht rekapitulieren. Also heute eine neues Konto eingerichtet, aber mit dem kann ich den dort angelegten Product-Key angeblich nicht nutzen. Ich drehe mich im Kreis.
Eine Lösung muss doch möglich sein.

admin died. I don't hv his password & need to change the Admin acct
I was using the desktop without hving to log in UNTIL it had to be restarted after updates. Now I can't get to my acct or my brothers. How do I reset the Admin acct password on an ACER desktop without losing everything I've documented since his death?
I hv seen that there is a default Admin act that u type in 123456 as a password BUT I don't know how to bring it up. Please Help me!

Acer maskin med problem som følger:
Man får logge på som normalt. Dersom man prøver å ta i bruk internet Explorer eller et annet progam på pc'en kommer det frem en grønn skjerm med følgende melding:

"Zeitpläne bearbeiten" unter Micorsoft Outlook 2016 für Mac
Hallo zusammen
Ich finde den Bearbeitungspunkt "Zeitpläne bearbeiten" unter MicorsoftOutlook 2016 für Mac nicht mehr. Bei der Version 2011 war er unter dem Menüpunkt "Extra"-> "Zeitpläne"-> "Zeitpläne bearbeiten" bzw. Registerkarte Tools -> Zeitpläne -> Zeitplan bearbeiten.
Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?

When sending an email and clicking on the Attach File icon I used to see my last 12 opened documents display. Got a new laptop and now when I click on Attach File it only displays my Document Library. How do I set my Attach File icon to display my most
recent opened documents again?

Missing Focused Inbox
I have Office 365 ProPlus 1704 (Build 8067.2115) which is supposed to include Focused Inbox but I don't have the button to turn it on/off on the View tab in the ribbon. I have it turned on in OWA and in Outlook on my iPhone and I would really like to have it in Outlook on my laptop. Focused Inbox is turned on for my tenant. Others in my group are seeing it but I am not. Any ideas?

Erneute Windows-Sicherung funktioniert nicht auf neu angeschlossener externen Festplatte
Liebe Community,
Ich habe ein Problem mit einer von mir versuchten neuerlichen Sicherung meines Windows 10, 64 Bit, Version 1703.
Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich ein Windows Backup ordnungsgemäß auf einer externen Festplatte erfolgreich erstellt.
Eine Aktualisierung schlägt fehl, weil auf dieser externen Festplatte nicht mehr genügend freies Speichervolumen vorhanden ist.
So versuche ich seit Tagen sowohl eine erneutes Backup als auch Windows Systemimage auf einer anderen - größeren - externen Festplatte (mit 1,2 Terrabyte).
Nach scheinbar erfolgreichem Start bricht sowohl das Windows Backup als auch der Versuch, ein Systemabbild zu erstellen, ab.
Bei letzterem erscheint wenigstens eine genaue Fehlermeldung.
Sie lautet:
"Systemabbild erstellen.
Die Sicherung ist fehlgeschlagen.
Fehler beim Anfordern einer exklusiven Sperre für die EFI-Systempartition (ESP) durch die Windows-Sicherung. Dies kann auftreten, wenn Dateien auf der ESP von einer anderen Anwendung verwendet werden. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang (0x8078011E)
Zusätzliche Informationen: Zugriff verweigert (0x80070005)"
Ergänzen möchte ich noch, dass die externe Festplatte nach System NTFS formatiert ist und über die Computerverwaltung/Datenträgerverwaltung auch einen eigenen, eingerichteten Laufwerksbuchstaben (E:) bekommen hat.
Eine weitere Meldung, derzufolge jegliches Backup verweigert wird, lautet, dass das Laufwerk vom „Dateiversionsverlauf nicht erkannt“ wird.

Ich erhalte immer wieder eine Meldung, dass ich die (externe) Festplatte neu anschließen muss. Ich löse sie dann vom PC und stecke sie erneut in die USB-Buchse. Nichts ändert sich.

Broken File Printouts

My school district has begun rolling out Office365. OneNote is proving to be very popular among the staff, however we've run into an issue.
This issue is file "printouts" breaking inside of a note. This issue shows itself with PDF files and Word Files (so far).
There are no error messages, only symbols for broken links. The larger problem is that the notes/notebooks will work fine initially, and then later display this broken link behavior. It happens in Desktop version of OneNote (office 16), as well as the web based version. Also, PC and Mac...once this problem surfaces it seems to set in across all devices.
Microsoft Support suggested I post this question here. Thanks in advance.
