How to customize the ribbon background color in Windows explorer

Hello community,

I am using Windows 10 version 1607. I am trying to change the background color of the command ribbon in windows explorer.

I have found relevant information here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/dd940487(v=vs.85).aspx

I can see that UI_PKEY_GlobalBackgroundColor needs to be edited, but I need step- by-step instructions on how to do so. I am trying to change the background color to black to compliment a theme I am using.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

wie kann es sein das man von dem ....entforcementteam gebannt wird der Typ schreibt mir **** die Nachricht habe ich gemeldet ich schreibe ihm pussy was keine Beleidigung ist und 2 min später bin ich gesperrt und er schreibt weiter Nachrichten was soll das ich habe ein bann bis zum 5.6.2017 und der Typ spielt munter weiter und schreibt Nachrichten was soll das und das beste das tolle korrupte entforcement erreicht man nicht die Antworten nicht und nix weil man als deutscher auf Xbox Live einfach nur Dreck ist ich finde es eine Frechheit grundlos gebannt zu werden nur weil der Typ vilt jemand kennt der jemand kennt der ein kennt im entforcementteam und der mich dann bannen tut so ein Schwachsinn und wie gesagt man kann nix machen es ist lächerlich und dann soll man den auch noch in englisch schreiben ist ja die Krönung von allen

Insider Preview Version 1607 15046.0 Will not now Update

I have been unable to update this version for a couple of months,. Microsoft took my system over and deleted and amended various files etc but it still will not update. Now they tell me that as it is an Insider build the usual Chat line cannot help and that I should contact you guys.

All I want is for the update to start working again.

Everything else with this build seems fine and is working OK

Microsoft chat have offered to update this build to the full version but the whole idea of this laptop is to get the previews.

Can you sort this problem out in some way please. Is it possible for one of you tech guys to take the system over to sort out the update probs.,

After install in this update, my USB 2.0 ports stop working. Windows 7 64 bit. I have to uninstall for USB ports to work. Anyone with the same problem? Cannot find answer in Windows support.

Microsoft Office for Mac AutoUpdate deleted all of my office files

It was an auto update that popped up when I opened office a few days ago.

Now all of my word, powerpoint etc files are gone.

Even when I go into time machine and look back to before the update they're not there.

Anyone know what to do?

Buongiorno a tutti!

Due giorni fa ho comprato un pc portatile Asus F554L i3. Dopo aver installato tutti gli aggiornamenti richiesti (mettendoci un pomeriggio intero) ho notato che i colori dello schermo avevano una tonalità sul giallo. Dopo aver fatto qualche ricerca, ho calibrato i colori e sono riuscita a normalizzarli. Ma dopo un riavvio, lo schermo si accende normale e dopo un secondo torna di nuovo giallo. Cosa dovrei fare per mantenere le impostazioni che metto? Secondo voi dovrei tornare in negozio e farmelo sistemare?

Cant scan on Epson Artisan 837

I get a communications error when I try to scan with my Epson Artisan 837. it says "Make sure the computer is connected." I can copy and print, but I cant scan. Recently purchased Windows 10. Also have WiFi.

Nieuwe laptop Asus N752VX met ips scherm

De kleuren zijn veel te intens, de kleur rood ziet er bv. uit als fluoriserend knalroodoranjeroze.

(Het hele verhaal: Het 1ste exemplaar is 4x naar Asus (in Spanje) gegaan ter reparatie. Ze hebben niets gedaan met mijn opmerking dat het volgens mij geen hardware probleem was en het scherm en een kabel vervangen. Slecht gemonteerd waardoor het scherm aan de randen lichte vlekken vertoonde. Heb na 4 maanden! eindelijk een nieuw exemplaar ontvangen.)

De kleurintensiteit lijkt min of meer goed als ik de verzadiging op waarde -30 zet.

1. Deze waarde wordt zowel in Windows als in de Intel kleurinstellingen weer op 0 gezet als er weer een Windows update heeft plaatsgevonden.

2. Voor fotografie is het laatste wat je wilt om met de kleurinstellingen van het beeldscherm te gaan rommelen. Mijn -30 waarde wil niet zeggen dat de fotokleuren optimaal worden weergegeven op andere beeldschermen.

Ik heb geen topics op internet gevonden, vreemd?

Heeft iemand een oplossing voor dit probleem?

更新后极限竞速地平线3在登陆界面闪退，无法进入游戏。其他一些大型游戏可以玩但会出现卡顿甚至闪退的情况，如nba2k17。另外，Windows商店也无法打开。

Leider kann ich mich nicht mehr in meinem Konto anmelde. Die Gesichtserkennung funktioniert nicht mehr. Den Pin habe ich zu oft falsch eingegeben, und das Kennwort wird nicht akzeptiert.

Wie kann ich mich auf mein Laptop wieder anmelden.

Hello,

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 recently not too long after my phone company allowed (Cricket Wireless), and up until now I haven't had any real issues.

My current problem is that my phone is 8gb (I have a 32gb SD card as well), and it refuses to update. I have moved every conceivable program I can to my SD card, and the only programs that remain are Facebook, Betrayal Stats (board game I played once with my friends), Battlenet authentication thing and 6tag as I occasionally watch Twitch on my phone.

On my storage, it says that 7.28gb/7.28gb are used due to the update. 5.52gb is reserved for the phone crud, 1.63gb is apps & games. The biggest thing installed is mail and calendar at 444mb, microsoft edge at 102mg and photos at 52mb. The rest are under and very small, and mostly mandatory.

It won't let me uninstall anything that would make enough room for the updates. There is no conceivable way I have found to make the room it wants to for updates. The few apps that Cricket installs are small and things like a photo and selfie app, small things like that. I uninstalled a couple other small things they put on the phone, but it barely made any room.

All of my photos I have ever taken and not deleted, plus a few games/apps I do have are already moved to the SD card. Microsoft apps which use any space can't be moved to the SD card and there is NO SETTING to have Windows use my SD card for space.

I'm all out of ideas. Every few times I use my phone it keeps bugging me about updates and lack of space, tells me to make space, yet the only things of reasonable space that would give me enough space are not able to be uninstalled or moved to my SD card because they're mandatory or something and I can't do anything to them.

Is there anyone out there who could provide me with any advice? The only other thing I could possibly think would be to wipe the phone to factory settings (came with Windows 8.1) and re-update to Windows 10 and *hope* that after that I have enough room. I hope this would not be the only option though.

System Crashes and Instability following power-loss (via reset button) while in sleep-mode

Greetings -- greatly appreciate any help that can be provided.

I am running Windows 10 Pro (x64), version 10.0.15063 Build 15063.

I use my computer most evenings after work, and have (over the years) developed a habit of always putting the computer to sleep rather than shutting down or hibernating. A few days ago, my toddler appears to have pressed a reset-button on the case of the computer while it was 'asleep.' The reset button ties directly to the reset pin on the motherboard. I have since disconnected that button!

When I got home from work, I noticed my computer was on and displaying a "Reboot and Select proper Boot device" message. After some minor fiddling in the BIOS (re-doing the boot order), I was able to get into the OS.

I am using a 256GB SSD -- I have had one just like it fail in the past, and so made backing up the drive my #1 priority in anticipation of another possible failure. I tried the Windows Image Backup utility multiple times, all resulting in the same thing: a system crash declaring a "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR" (stop code 0x0000007A). This crash typically occurs about 10 minutes into the image backup.

Using the supplied SSD software ("Samsung Magician"), I see that it tells me that the SSD is in a healthy state with a status of "GOOD".

I attempted to run a dskchk /r /x /f after a restart but it quickly stopped at 16% complete and remained there for nearly 24 hours with no sign of completing.

I'm naturally led to believe that this is all stemming from the fact that the computer was reset while the computer was asleep. I do not know whether the SSD simply contains some bad data which is causing the OS to crash when certain files (or page files?) are read, or whether the SSD may actually be damaged in the sense that this cannot be corrected with standard troubleshooting methods.

My goal is to be able to perform a system image backup so that if the SSD fails entirely in the near future, I can restore to a replacement SSD.

Thanks for any assistance that can be provided. Please let me know if there are issues accessing the dump files I linked to!

Siamo a Maggio 2017 a più di un anno e mezzo dal rilascio di Windows 10. Possiedo ben due Lumia 1320 l'ultimo dei quali acquistato un anno fa. Ho (abbiamo) perso Messenger che per lavoro mi serviva e piano piano molte app non riceveranno più aggiornamenti. Si può avere una data di rilascio precisa per passare a Windows 10 per il 1320? Si può avere la certezza che l'avremo questo benedetto aggiornamento?
